Cozy on up to this sweet Gaver Christmas Tree Farm Engagement Session by Alysia and Jayson Photography. Snuggling up with your fiance and some warm cocoa can make any cold day a romantic one. Alysia tells us,“We spent the afternoon in Frederick, Maryland with our couple Joan & Stephen, at a beautiful Christmas tree farm! These two are so playful and were an absolute dream to photograph. We continued the shoot by wandering around the charming downtown streets of Frederick, enjoying a carriage ride, decorations and evening lights! We can’t wait for their fabulous wedding next September at Kirkland Manor on the Eastern Shore.”
Where does one begin on this fun and bright Greendale Farm Wedding by Leah Rhianne Photography? From the food truck and mason jar bar to the non-stop dance party in their families barn, this wedding looks nothing short of a good time! Leah tells us, “Brittany & Ben were married on their family’s farm in Baldwin, MD. They did not overlook a single detail with how they put this event together. From the beautiful ceremony site framed with shabby-chic doors and a hand-built stage to the cocktail-table spools brought in for the food-truck-catered cocktail hour to the fully-dressed barn reception, it truly was a stunning wedding.”
We love a couple who stays true to their roots and it shows in this Church & Company Wedding by B.O.B Photography. With the couples vintage style, every piece of the wedding reflects their personality and they made their guests feel right at home in Baltimore. We just love the groom’s expression seeing his bride walk down the aisle! Today’s bride, Seferina tells us, “In essence, we wanted our wedding to reflect our personalities: we didn’t care about the niceties so much as the actual wedding and reception to be fun and laid-back. We love all plants… and I especially love flowers: peonies, ranunculus, gardenias, anemones. Our bouquets were made by Whole Foods based on very loose descriptions on what I liked and they came out *beautifully* – a lot of eucalyptus with anemones and mine had also a gardenia. I bought airplants and succulents over the entire summer and kept like 80 plants alive for the 13 terrariums I made as centerpieces. We had a combination of old, refurbished, and new glassware to make the terrariums but I mainly used apothecary glass to symbolize our profession: we are both pharmacists (and nerds, clearly)! We chose Hampden as our location because we got to know each other here, we fell in love here, and now we live here… growing our little family. Our story could be mapped in this area. It was natural to have our wedding at our neighborhood parish, St. Thomas Aquinas. We walked into this former church on Falls Road and knew *immediately* it was of our aesthetic: quirky paintings, old, old furniture, gray walls, antique taxidermy. Alex is a buff on the history of the neighborhood as well! (Turns out our church was designed by the same architect that built Church and Company over a hundred years ago!) Jacob is Italian/Irish and I am Korean/Hispanic. As a nod to my heritage, I wore a mantilla veil – a traditional Spanish veil and bright red, traditional, Korean, ceremonial shoes made for me. Our desserts were a collection of pies – because who likes vegan cake? – half-vegan, half-vegetarian: chocolate chess, lemon-blueberry, pumpkin. Lastly, our drinks. His signature drink was an Old Fashioned made with Bulleit Rye and mine was an Aperol spritzer made with Tintero’s Moscato D’Asti, Aperol, and basil. His signature beer was Union Anthem and mine was Old Oriole Park Bohemian. We’re both fans of craft beers and wanted to keep it local – both being within 2 or so miles from where we live.”
We just know you’re going to love this fun Belmont Manor Carnival Wedding by Ica Images and NoLo Weddings and Events! From the bright pops of color to the fun lollipop centerpieces and banners throughout the reception, this couple brought their carnival vision to life! Who doesn’t love a doughnut tower or a Ferris Wheel made of cupcakes? Nora from NoLo Weddings & Events tells us, “From the moment I met Ashley and Joe I knew that they were a special couple. Their infectious smiles, excited energy and loving gazes at each other are every wedding planners dream! Then, when they told me that they were planning a carnival themed wedding at the beautiful Belmont Manor, I was sold! They started their day with a traditional ceremony at St. Mary of the Mills and it was evident that the family and friends in attendance were in complete support of the next chapter of Ashley and Joe’s lives! Pinwheels, a donut ferris wheel display and caricature artists rounded out all of the fun details that made Ashley and Joe’s carnival theme wedding come to life! The guests had non-stop entertainment on the dance floor, and inside the manor, where a photo booth featuring a ticket stub backdrop could be found. The tent was decorated in pastels and the centerpieces were pinwheels and big lollipops, both of which ended up being take-home treats for the younger guests. Even with a storm.. scratch that.. monsoon forcing all 250 guests into the manor, the party did not stop! The guests filled every inch of the house and continued to dance, socialize and celebrate! They say that rain on your wedding day is good luck, and although I am confident that Ashley and Joe don’t need luck for their love to last, they sure got a lot of it!”
REALY AMAZING! LOVE IT!
