There is nothing more jaw dropping in today’s Walters Art Museum Wedding by Anna Schmidt Photography than this gorgeous venue and couple! The royal blue sets the tone for this elegant affair and monogrammed marble dance floor! Although, we are slightly jealous we didn’t get an invite to a wedding where Chick-fil-A made an appearance at the end of the night! The couple’s photographer, Anna, tells us, “Zerimar met Craig in 2005 when she began studying at Northwestern University and he was starting his junior year. After 3 years of friendship, they finally became a couple. They grew together, supported each others goals and passions, and pursued new life experiences by traveling all over the world. After graduating and enduring a long distance relationship, Zerimar and Craig moved to Brooklyn, NY together, the place they currently reside. Since Craig is originally from the Baltimore area, the couple decided to have their wedding celebration in the heart of Charm City! Their stunning event took place at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore, Maryland. The ceremony and reception were held inside the Walters Sculpture Court where several classical pieces reside. What a unique experience! Briana and her team at Nouvelle Weddings did such an AMAZING job with this gorgeous event! As the event photographer, I absolutely loved working with them! There was a really great vendor team on this wedding. We all worked together so well, and everything turned out perfectly for Zerimar and Craig’s big day!”

National Arboretum Engagement by Gonzalez J Photography

This National Arboretum engagement session from Gonzalez J. Photography, comes across cozy & cute as can be. When asked for something that they love about each other, Rob says “Marian has many great characteristics. She’s very thoughtful and considerate of others, always taking other people’s opinions into account. She has strong goals and works hard to reach them, which is probably my favorite part about her. I would also have to say that she has the best red hair.” Marian says “My favorite characteristic of Rob is that he is always so calm. I can get frustrated, upset, angry, and he is always there to calm me down. In the end, he’s my rock and he’s really the only person that I have ever met who can keep so calm in stressful situations. If I make a mistake, misunderstand something, or just generally mess up, he always says something along the lines of “it’s okay, we’ll figure it out, we always do.” I also have to add that I love how hardworking and kind Rob is. He’s worked hard for everything in his life, he has extremely strong values, and doesn’t take any of it for granted.”

Emory Grove Hotel Wedding by Britney Clause Photography

After raving about the food trucks & lobster mac+cheese, photographer, Britney Clause describes this Emory Grove Hotel wedding as ‘magical’! and goes on to say….“Hannah and Terry’s wedding day had the most pure joy and excitement I have ever seen. The rain started pouring down early in the day, which typically would take the pep out of a bride, but being surrounded by her closest friends made Hannah relax and really relish the hours leading up to walking toward Terry. When it came time to walk down the aisle, these two college sweethearts wanted to make that moment extra special. So after the bridesmaids had proceeded, Terry turned away from the guests. When Hannah and her dad reached the mid-way point under the large tabernacle, the officiant tapped Terry on the shoulder and he turned around to see his love. It was a beautiful and incredibly sweet moment that was just for them, even though it included all of their family and friends. The most fantastic pieces of Hannah and Terry’s day happened during the party. Their guests were treated to catering by delicious food trucks (including some very popular lobster mac and cheese). Inside, there was a band that completely shook the floor of the historic hotel. Every single guest was out of their seat, either crowd surfing to the live music, fist pumping to 90s covers, or creating dance-off circles. It was honestly the most lively and enthusiastic reception I’ve witnessed, and it truly felt like a wild rock concert. At the end of the night, this wedding wasn’t something that just happened, it was an experience that really felt magical.”

Serenity+Cobalt Inspired Styled Shoot

Today, we’ve got a double dose of loveliness from not one, but two amazing photographers, Britney Clause Photography +Marlayna Photography with this Serenity+Cobalt Inspired Styled Shoot at the Patapsco Female Institute! From the photographers, Britney & Marlayna: “We came up with the idea of collaborating on this styled shoot after gravitating towards a common vision that would speak to couples in love with bold, Serenity-inspired hues for any season. We wanted to balance shimmering geodes and vibrant blues with clean lines and soft watercolors. The Patapsco Female Institute was the perfect venue, with its romantic architecture – including bright walls, raw stone, and its unique roof-less spaces – it is a venue with a lot of versatility and plenty of gorgeous light. The venue’s beauty was brought to life by this palette’s deep blues and purples, and the striking textures of our geode accents.

The table was set, with fantastic details from local vendors, including rich florals and bold cobalt glassware. Even the table is an impressive work of art in itself, hand-made of naturally beautiful raw textures. Gold flatware and sweetly DIY-ed ombre napkins play off of the soft hues and fun shapes of our watercolor invitations. And who wouldn’t want to find their seat with a geode-table number? We were thrilled to even have food to fill the plates with delectable and appetizing dishes from Copper Kitchen. Their signature dish, the CK Donut Burgers were a huge hit, accompanied by a Passion and Spice cocktail. For dessert, we had tiers of rock candy cupcakes that enticed the senses with their sweet aroma.

Our three gorgeous models brought a playful energy to our scene, dressed in breathtaking flowing gowns from Amsale and Monique Lhuillier. The blue and neutral dresses are perfect inspiration for brides who are ready to embrace a touch of color throughout every wedding detail. Unique rings from St. John’s Jewelers and geode earrings by up and coming designer, Rachel Mulherin tied into our inspiration perfectly. With two photographers on set, we loved exploring every opportunity to make this shoot extraordinary. We are hugely thankful for the collaboration to work on this inspiration together, and alongside a list of absolutely incredible vendors who made this shoot both beautiful and so much fun.”
