Donaldson Brown Wedding by Rachel Harrod Photography

We love when couples share their love of their alma mater – even in the most subtle of ways – on their wedding day! As University of Maryland alums, this couple honored their alma mater by having their wedding at the Donaldson Brown Conference Center, a university building in Port Deposit, MD. And what a gorgeous venue, right on the edge of the Susquehanna River! From the vibrant colors, to the DIY details, this wedding will sweep you off your feet.

DIY: “Best of Baltimore” Goodies Bag

Today, we’ve got one of the simplest DIY projects for you all: A “Best of Baltimore” goodies bag! Your guests will love these – whether you present them as favor bags to grab on the way out of your reception, or as welcome/thank you bags waiting for them at their hotel!

You can put a variety of items into your Baltimore goody bag, but here are some of our top suggestions:

Note: We were actually planning to make our own version of a goody bag, but the lovely Sarah Culver Photography sent these fabulous images over to us for a past inspiration post and we just loved them so much!

And, in case you missed this week’s posts…

Have a great weekend!

Locust Point Engagement by Meaghan Elliott Photography

This sweet couple had us swooning over their beautiful photos as soon as we received them, and we couldn’t wait to share. Whether by the water or in the park, this Locust Point e-session shows a couple truly in love and sharing a mutual love as well: the Baltimore Ravens! Thanks to Meaghan Elliott Photography for this awesome e-session. Enjoy!

Evergreen Museum & Library Wedding by Love by Serena

Today’s wedding will transport you to the English countryside, or so it may seem! This gorgeous fête took place at the Evergreen Museum & Library here in Baltimore.

From the bride, Dana: “Our wedding inspiration started with the venue. We looked at a lot of places, but once we saw the Evergreen – our search was over.  It was the only place that felt like us and where we could actually picture saying our vows. We loved the greenery of the upper gardens and the rustic feel of the carriage house. It was really important that the wedding was laid back and fun… and I felt we could accomplish that there. With the help of Pinterest, Etsy and various wedding blogs, I was able to tie in the rustic feel of the venue with the overall decor. I love details, so it was important to me to incorporate little things such as our parents wedding photos and the Mr. and Mrs. signs on the back of our chairs. Our wedding day is something that we will forever cherish and we’re so grateful that so many of our family and friends were able to celebrate with us.”
