We long for the events like this. Where every detail is carefully curated and the vibrant colors and hues take you away to a magical place that feels completely different. This stunning Indian wedding was washed in crimson and gold. Elaborate florals everywhere. For most of us, we never get to experience the customs of such a rich culture. Today, we are bringing you some of our favorite elements from this beautiful wedding in Baltimore, Maryland.

The Bride

She wore a crimson gown heavily embroidered with gold. Her hands were painted with henna in intricate designs. For the jewelry, she wore the traditional gold jewelry including a tikka headpiece. Her stunning gowns were custom-made in India. After the ceremony, she changed into an elaborate gold sari . Her hair was swept back in a more traditional structured up-do, showcasing her beautiful jewelry.

Groom

The groom wore traditional Indian wedding garments for the ceremony, including a beautiful crimson turban. After the ceremony, he changed into an incredibly well-tailored black tie suit. This look is clean, classic and very GQ. We are swooning over here…

The Ceremony

Indian ceremonies and receptions are known elaborate decor and a plethora of food. This wedding does not disappoint. (If you have a large ceremony space and want to know how to style it, this is the wedding for you)! Their ceremony space was defined with an altar draped in gold and pink cloth with flower installments. Elaborate white chairs were placed at the altar and used by the wedding party. Once the ceremony was over the altar was repositioned and used as a backdrop for the reception.

Reception

The head table was gold and accented with flickering white candles and florals. The guest tables were draped with white linen accented with variety of candles. Unstructured greens and hydrangea were placed around the candles while the arrangements consisted of blush roses. Floral installations were also found in the background, accenting the draped walls. Rose color up-lighting was used along the walls, creating a cohesive color scheme throughout the reception.
