Rain didn’t stop this beautiful Southeast Asian Pier 5 Hotel Wedding by Brooke Tyson Photography from going off without a hitch! Surrounded by views of the Inner Harbor, the couple partied the night away in their classic black, white and gold reception at the Hotel. The reception, however was muted compared to their very colorful Sangeet just a few days prior! Brooke tells us, “Sonya and Steve met on the dance floor during a party while both enrolled in undergrad at the University of Maryland College Park. They both love to dance, adore their cat, Moe, and they each have a passion for the sciences. Following graduation, Sonya enrolled in pharmacy school and Steve attended physical therapy school. They became engaged in 2015 and in 2016, these two tied the knot at the Pier 5 Hotel in Baltimore, MD. It was an incredibly rainy day, which moved the ceremony and most of their portraits indoors, but these two didn’t let that dampen their spirits at all. Two days prior to their Pier 5 wedding, Sonya and Steve had a Sangeet celebration at The Villa in Beltsville, MD.”
