We adore this cheery yellow-filled Harford Vineyard & Winery Wedding by Meghan Rose Photography! Meghan tells us, “Ariel and Jason are the type of people that you just want to be around. They are the “cool kids” without even trying to be cool or popular or trendy. They simply are themselves and people are drawn to them. I knew they were special from the moment we started our engagement session. Being a part of their wedding day, though, was particularly amazing since now I was not only surrounded by Ariel and Jason, but all the people in their lives that love, adore, and support them and their marriage. Octobers can be tricky to plan for in Maryland, because you really “never know what’cher gonna get” but man, was this a perfect day for a wedding! The sun was vibrant and the air warm yet crisp. Autumn was just barely beginning to touch Harford Vineyard, but it was early enough that everything still looked lively and warm while still changing into a touch of yellow and orange hues. When Ariel arrived in her dress, she exuded a sort of humble excitement….a patient nervousness, perhaps, that gave her a glow. A bride’s glow. I used to always shoot in “open shade” – I was afraid of using too much sunlight in my photos. But then I realized that some people – some people like Ariel – well…they just deserve to be in the sun.This whole day deserved to be in the sun! It seemed like their happiness was so warm and bright, that even the earth was smiling on them! At the end of the night, after the sun had gone down, the vows had been said, the songs belted and the dance floor warmed up, the pies cut and eaten, and the family full of gratitude and joy, Ariel and Jason still looked at each other with excitement and light and their eyes. I feel blessed to have witnessed their love and their day!”
