We can’t believe that this year is already coming to a close! It has been an amazing 2012 – all thanks to our wonderful supporters! We could not have done all that we did this year (our inaugural year), had it not been for all of the gorgeous submissions, feedback from our readers, and talent from the wedding industry all around the Baltimore area. We are incredibly blessed to do what we do. So from the bottom of our hearts, thank you!

We’ll be “signing off” for the next week in order to spend some much needed quality time with friends and family. But stay tuned! We have so much in the works for 2013: DIY collaborations, stunning styled shoots, more planning posts, venue profiles, and, of course, an unending supply of gorgeous real weddings and sessions. Also, one of our editors, Rochelle, will be welcoming her first baby in early February! Congratulations to her and her husband, Matt!

Today, we also have an exciting announcement: We’ll be teaming up with Bayside Bride to host the Chesapeake Bridal Awards!

Our goal is to support excellence within the Maryland, DC, and Virginia wedding community. Whether you’re engaged, already married, an industry professional, or head-over-heels for all things wedding – we absolutely encourage you to participate. Beginning on January 1, 2013, you may join us by nominating your favorite local wedding professionals and small business owners. We are aiming to acknowledge the best of the best in our local wedding industry!
