Venue Profile: Steppingstone Museum

We are so excited to bring you all this awesome venue for today’s venue profile! We visited the Steppingstone Museum recently and absolutely loved the grounds of this unique, historic property in Harford County. The main house on the property, housing the museum, dates back to 1771 and is chock full of artifacts from the late 19th – early 20th century. The museum and grounds host multiple events during the year, including a fall festival (recommended in our September Lovebirds post!), flea market, and a Christmas open house, as well as being open every weekend to the public May through Sept from 1pm to 4pm.

This beautiful, rustic location for weddings has many options and perks for your big day. There are 2 areas on the grounds used for ceremonies and both are equally as beautiful! There are no restrictions on caterers or rental companies, and no noise ordinance as well. There is a picturesque gazebo perfect for photos or very small ceremonies, and a large pavilion available for the reception and eating. The grounds and bathrooms are handicap accessible, and there is plenty of parking for guests. Overall, we were very impressed by this venue!
