A couple that kicks off their wedding reception with a swing dance, is bound to be super fun! Laura’s Focus Photography shared this Savage Mill wedding with us & shared these words. “After their very first date, these two quickly realized they were perfect for each other. Annie and Jon love to laugh together and the rain didn’t even dampen their mood! Their wedding ceremony took place in the Saint Louis Chapel in Clarksville, Maryland, the very church where Annie was baptized and grew up attending. I absolutely loved this small, intimate church built in the 1800’s. Their reception took place at The Great Room at Savage Mill where each table was decorated with handmade centerpieces of branches filled with blue and green origami birds. Annie and Jon have been hard at work folding these birds and the most involved project was the folding of each flower to create the bouquets and boutonnieres! Annie is also a graphic designer and created some beautiful invitations, save the dates, and ceremony programs.”

She says “Words cannot describe how awesome and adorable Brittany and Robert and their one year old Australian shepherd blue merle pup Lyanna are! Returning to their alma mater (and mine too), Towson University, for this session was a real treat! Towson University is where it all started for these two. Brittany and Robert first met when they sat next to each other in a class back in 2012 in Hawkins Hall – room HH 017 to be exact! We even visited that room and the exact desk they shared for some of their photos!”

Intimate venues makes for intimate moments, as you can see in this Mt Washington Tavern wedding, from Maureen Pacheco Photography. “This special day, which actually took place on Father’s Day, called for a lot of rain in Baltimore, but luckily not a single drop fell from the sky. Rachel and Nick were surrounded by their close family and friends who truly love them. Their wedding was filled with so much joy. From the gorgeous free form white and emerald green florals to the beautiful readings during the ceremony, the live jazz band – every little detail fit these two perfectly. It was a great day for so many reasons and I was so honored to be a part of it!”

Fall Inspired Wedding Styled Shoot by Evelyn Alas Photography

From bright earthy colors in rich rusts, oranges and reds accented by pinks filled with fruits to a sultry mix of glittery golds, this fall inspired wedding styled shoot provides brides with a different vision to celebrate the season.

Photographer, Evelyn Alas, shares more about the vision & vendors! “We love a fall wedding with new ideas including bold colors and details. For this inspiration we included modern silk plaids and mountain cozy woolly lined coats along with a palette of spicy oranges, bright reds and deep hot pinks to brighten a dark and gloomy winter sky. The shoot was set on a golf course, under a delightful tree, an outdoor celebration of bridal winter styles.

Our first bride in a ball gown by Los Angeles wedding gown designer Grace Bridal Couture, features a more modern plaid inspired look with a bright mix of florals and berries with seasonal fruits. Our second bridal look was more subdue with a hint of evergreens and featured a handmade bridal sash by Little Magpie Bows on Etsy. And what’s not to love about a look for a flower girl that is both a little bit sporty and a little bit delicate, a fun mix of styles in a gold glittery finish.

We love the heart-shaped pie pops designed by Cake Heaven, and they were delicious too! The handmade stationery from Wedding Girl on Etsy, designed by Brenda from Brenda’s Wedding blog, is sweet and has a touch of glitter. We’ve been dying to design a tablescape with this sweet pomegranate placecards. Florals and tablescape decor were influenced by greenery and delicious fruity details, including gorgeous ranunculus, garden roses and bright orange French tulips and Gerber daisies.”
