Snow really makes for fun & dynamic images, as this snowy Annapolis Engagement Session by Photos from the Harty shows us! “After rescheduling because of weather once, Rachel and Chris were determined to get their engagement session photographed no matter what Mother Nature had in store – just as long as we were willing. Of course we were! We planned to arrive in Annapolis before the snow started and head out just as the snow started to really fall. What we didn’t fully account for was the temperature. It was 18 degrees. You can see that the bay has a thick layer of ice! Even in boots with several pairs of socks and tons of layers, we were freezing! Rachel and Chris were fantastic, though; not only did they take off their coats, but they had a blast during the photoshoot! After about an hour outside, we decided to drop by one of their favorite watering holes in downtown Annapolis to thaw out. We took some adorable photographs and watched the snow begin to get heavier over a pint. Finally, we stepped out into the street, grabbed a few fast photographs of this adorable couple and then called it a day. It probably took 24 hours to fully warm up after this engagement session, but it was definitely worth it! We loved every moment and still love every photograph!”

Happy Snowmageddon 2016 you guys! In honor of blizzard storm #Jonas, we are sharing this snowy BMI wedding today, from Leah Rhianne Photography! Snow can be GORGE, so embrace it! Photographer Leah shares more – “Megan and Ben got married during one of the biggest snowstorms of 2015. They are both from Michigan so snow was no big deal to them and their families had flown in a few days before and were all staying at the Hyatt. This brave bride and groom ventured out in a foot and a half of snow onto the rooftop of the hotel, without coats, for their first look. It was so cold but absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately their arranged transportation from the Hyatt to the BMI could not get out of the lot where their buses were kept so we were not only taking photos, we were chauffeuring guests to and from the venue in our jeep. This couple had the BEST vendor team – the planner, dj, caterer and photographers were all there despite the blizzard! I wish I could say the same for the guests but most of their local guests were unable to make it due to road conditions. The ceremony started a hour and a half late but in the end the couple were married in front of all of their family and bridal party that were able to make it in and it was one heck of a party!”

We just love this elegant Four Seasons Wedding by Michael Bennett Kress Photography! As if the Four Seasons Baltimore venue could be any more beautiful, this reception is dripping in florals and soft purple touches. Michael tells us, “Jenna + Justin had a beautiful and bright fall wedding on the harbor in downtown, Baltimore. The wedding was so luxurious with white and ivory floral designs everywhere. The bride opted for a full style Hayley Paige gown with just a touch of bling around the waist which accented the elegant necklace cascading down her back. A traditional Jewish ceremony, you can see the Chuppah was a symbol of the shelter these two will find within one another. The florals leading them down the aisle were a soft ivory white, with rustic branches to add the touch of earth tones. We cannot get enough of this wedding because Jenna and Justin’s love framed the entire day and was absolutely contagious to everyone around them. We are lucky to have had the pleasure of photographing this stunning day!”

It was a gorgeous day for this Hunt Valley Golf Club Wedding from Kathleen Hertel Photography. The bride, Erin, says “We decided to get married at the Hunt Valley Golf Club while including many of our favorite aspects of Baltimore! We invited Poe, the Oriole Bird and Natty Boh, had Dangerously Delicious Pies, had centerpieces with our Baltimore engagement pictures, used a crab trap for cards and had purple bridesmaid dresses and orange flowers. We knew we needed fireworks because we have always enjoyed watching fireworks together and the memories we have shared watching fireworks are so special to us.”
