Thanks to S.Coleman Photography for sharing this Rustic Glam styled shoot with us! “Camp Letts was the perfect location for this whimsical rustic glam wedding styled shoot. From the dining hall reception venue with gorgeous ceiling to floor windows and a small beach outside it fulfilled all the rustic needs. To glam it up, York Flowers brought an amazing abundance of gorgeous flowers including the most amazing succulents that were featured on the tables, cake, in the bouquet, and for the boutonniere! Jacqueline and Andrew are so in love and they were just beaming the entire day. Jacqueline wore a gorgeous high neck lace gown from BHLDN and Andrew wore an awesome tweed jacket with tan pants that was finished off with an amazing green velvet bowtie and succulent boutonnière. The inspiration behind the day was a whimsical rustic glam feeling. The whole day was overcast and about to rain but it held off to grab some gorgeous photos by the water with an amazing gray sky that made the scene so dramatic! The way the sky reflected into the water and the veil blew in the breeze was so dreamy. It reminded me almost of a watercolor painting the way everything was slightly muted even the brighter color flowers in the bouquet muted when outside in the gorgeous gray lighting. It was a soft, dreamy, whimsical, and a perfect day for the whimsical rustic glam look I was going for!”

Emily says: “Lauren and Joey never cease to amaze me with their stunning smiles and easy-going demeanors! They met way back in the first grade, so it was neat to see two families who know each other come together as one. This wedding was incredible, from the decorated cakes as centerpieces to the full espresso bar set up at the reception. I would shoot this one over and over again!”

In today’s Elkridge Furnace Inn Wedding by Love Life Images, the look on this couples faces says it all. Your wedding day can truly be the BEST DAY EVER and with grins as big as these two, it seems like just that! Matthew of Love Life Images tells us, “Lauren and Tom are a couple that love to eat and drink and have a good time together so they wanted their wedding day to reflect that. The Elkridge Furnace Inn was the perfect location to host their fall-themed wedding reception and treat guests to an amazing, locally-sourced meal. The pair began the day with a first look atop Federal Hill so they could capture the Baltimore Skyline and Inner Harbor in their wedding photos. The ceremony at St. Vincent de Paul Church was touching and the couple took part in Communion with their guests- a tradition we don’t often see in weddings. A fantastic vintage car whisked Lauren and Tom off to the Inn to meet their guests and they celebrated with a bit of bubbly along the way! The rustic feel of the Inn was the perfect match to their fall themed wedding that included pumpkins and gourds as accent decor and mini pies for dessert.”

DIY Post: Wedding Countdown

Looking for a fun way to countdown to your big day? Look no further, we have the prettiest DIY Post: Wedding Countdown you’ve ever laid eyes on! For those of you who aren’t super crafty, don’t worry, this DIY project is a breeze and can be custom made to match your wedding colors or theme! Plus it’s a great excuse to always have fresh flowers in the house (or to receive from that fiance of yours!) and makes a great gift too! Let the countdown begin!

Supplies:

(1) Large Mason Jar
(1) Medium sized block/piece of wood
Small container (2 oz) of Chalkboard Paint
(2) Small containers (2 oz) of Acrylic Paint (feel free to use your wedding colors!)
(1) Small Frame (we found this one in the Dollar section at Michaels!)
Chalk
Paintbrushes
Twine (optional)

Directions:

1.) Gather all of your supplies and lay down some newspaper/drop cloth in your work space area.

2.) Paint the Wood Block with your first color on all 4 sides. Set aside to dry.

3.) Paint a small box with the Chalkboard paint on the front side of your block (this is where the text will be). Allow to completely dry.

4.) Using your second Acrylic color, paint the outside of the Mason Jar completely covering it. You may need to do a few coats so it’s no longer see-through. Set aside and allow to dry.

5.) Once the paint has dried on the Mason Jar, paint a large shape (we chose a heart!) on the front of the jar with the chalkboard paint. Under the shape using the Chalkboard paint, write the phrase “Days Until” (or shorten it to “Days ’til” like us).

6.) Once all the pieces have dried, assemble the mason jar and the frame on top of the wooden block. To make sure we didn’t lose the chalk, we tied some twine to the chalk and to the jar so it’s always within reach!

7.) Personalize your Countdown! In chalk, write on the Chalkboard Paint the number of days until the big day and stick a sweet picture of you and your fiance in the frame! Don’t forget to add some flowers to your new Mason Jar vase!
