What a perfect rustic feel in today’s Dejon Vineyard Wedding by Luck & Love Photography. The lush rolling vineyard and reception in the barn set the tone for the laid back vintage feel of this couple’s big day. The groom breaking down watching his bride walk down the aisle is our favorite! Megan of Luck & Love tells us,”Coleen is one of the absolutely nicest people I have ever met, and once I met Zach, I realized there was no couple better made for one another than these two. The amount of love that they both feel for one another is overwhelming, and on their wedding day I know that it was a palpable emotion. As Coleen was getting ready to walk down the aisle, the entire meaning of the day must have hit Zach, because his reaction to seeing Coleen walk down the aisle to promise him forever & always, made him breathless with emotion. It was beautiful, and there was not a dry eye there. (I’m tearing up just writing about it! It was beautiful).”

Snuggle up with today’s Fall Baltimore Engagement Session by Horace and Mae Photography. Despite a very chilly morning, these two let their love shine throughout some of our favorite spots in the city! Horace and Mae tell us, “We planned a sunrise shoot with Michael and Lauren and it happened to fall on a freezing autumn morning. Not literally freezing but it was seriously cold. They made the most of the cloudy morning with nonstop laughter and the sweetest smiles. You know those people that you can really tell just love spending time together and are really true friends? That is Michael and Lauren. They love being around each other and spending time in their beautiful city. Originally from out of state, Michael and Lauren have fallen in love with Baltimore and have found some of their favorite spots where we took their photos: a beautiful view of city lights, Federal Hill overlooking downtown and a side street that Lauren has dreamt of living on someday. Our morning was a chilly but refreshing morning filled with the warmth of these two and their love.”

We love this classic look in today’s Lord Baltimore Hotel Wedding by Kirsten Smith Photography and Lemon & Lime Event Design! The Lord Baltimore ballroom is the perfect setting for this gold and ivory stunner with pops of lavender keeping it fresh and fun! Kirsten tells us, “Alex and Paul are two of the sweetest kindest people. They are so comfortable to be around with such genuine kind hearts. Their wedding was so classic and elegant, with touches of gold and hints of lavender and plum. A First Look took place on the rooftop bar which was perfectly intimate and sweet. The weather was nice so we were able to capture portraits outside along the streets of Baltimore. Passers by wished them luck and honked their horns as we spent time photographing under the awning outside. Their ceremony was tender and heart-felt with a few laughs in between their loving vows and special moments. The reception was fun with so much energy! Many of their college friends were in attendance. These two met at the University of Maryland College Park so it was fun to grab a shot of all of the alumni together! So much love for this beautiful couple!”

This Cloisters Castle Wedding by Brittany Thomas Photography is nothing short of a fairytale. Set in the beautiful gardens of this historic Castle in Maryland, the couple shared a romantic first look and stole a few kisses before the celebrations began. You can just feel the love between these two! We just adore the jeweled tones and unique touches throughout this perfect fall day. Brittany tells us, “This past Saturday afternoon, I drove up a long, twisted driveway to a castle on a hilltop where Gina and McLean would be married in just a few hours. It was quiet and still, the entire day slightly muffled by the warm, overcast clouds that come just before autumn breaks through. The grounds at Cloisters Castle are absolutely stunning – the stone steps and balconies, the greenery and twinkle lights wrapping around the courtyard – it was the perfect backdrop for Gina and McLean’s jewel-toned, autumn wedding.

While Gina’s mother buttoned her gorgeous (and so soft!) gown, I asked Gina if it felt real yet, if she was ready. She smiled and said, “I was ready a long time ago.” Gina and McLean are both teachers, they met when McLean came to Baltimore with Teach for America – McLean teaches English (their tables were named after authors and poets; beautiful sonnets and poems were read during the ceremony) and Gina teaches art (she made the signage and cocktail sketches). I love how they infused their wedding day with the things they love, surrounded themselves with joyful family and friends, and soaked up every second of it. It was such a beautiful and happy day, and I’m so grateful I got to be a part of it. Their First Look was one of my favorites – I mean, just look at their faces when McLean turns around! – and their bridal party was so kind, helpful, and genuinely happy for their dear friends. Handkerchiefs were a must-have for their heartfelt ceremony, and everyone lifted their glasses (elderflower fizz! old-fashioneds!) to toast this incredible couple.”
