We love the vintage feel of this Dulanys Overlook Wedding by Vness Photography that’s full of gorgeous greenery. The bridal party decked out in sequins and full of glamor posing with the antique car looks straight out of a magazine. Their photographer, Venessa of Vness Photography, tells us, “I’d long been looking forward to their October wedding at the Dulany’s Overlook in Frederick Maryland, I was praying the skies would clear for them and it did! We had the most amazing October day. From the minute I stepped into the bridal suite and was greeted with warm hugs and laughter by Jessica’s mom and her amazing Bridesmaids I knew we were going to have awesome photos. I LOVED the bridesmaid dresses and all of the details they put into their wedding. Jessica was stunning such a beautiful bride! It was such a charming venue and it fit Jessica and Andrew’s laid back personality. I truly enjoyed our little journey to this special day!”

We love this unique Corradetti Glassblowing Studio Wedding by Robin Shotola Photography! This couple opted for a fun, cocktail style wedding at a local Glassblowing studio and the night was full of love and laughter. Robin, from Robin Shotola Photography, asks the bride a few questions about her big day. The bride tells her, “Favorite wedding photo and why:”There is no way to just pick one! Robin did such an amazing job finding moments that were honest and real that it is going to be a struggle to find one best one. If I was forced to chose I would pick a picture that Robin took one the street we live on with a Believe sign in lights across the street. My husband and I had just left the church and were on our way to the reception. We pulled over on the side of the road and as part of the set up process Robin was testing out the lights. She took a test shot of us making funny faces at each other. It was just perfect! it’s beautiful, silly and imperfect all at the same time. It really represents the real us.” Most stressful thing about planning your wedding?”Landing on the type of wedding we wanted to have. We knew we wanted to keep it to a smaller group, stay local, and not do a traditional hotel ball room type wedding. We kept going back and forth on size and cost, but when we came across the Corradetti Glassblowing Studio it was gorgeous, different, and the space was perfect for a cocktail style reception with the amount of guests we wanted. We feel in love with the space immediately.”

It’s always wonderful to see couples incorporate their personality and interested into their big day like this Superhero Mansion at Valley Country Club Wedding by Photography by Tracie. This couple incorporated their love for Super Man and Wonder woman so tastefully throughout their big day and had red and black as their wedding colors. The sneak peak of the superheros on the cake is our favorite part! Their photographer, Tracie, tells us, “Jaymie and Preston: Where do I begin…my first meeting with this couple was at a Panera in the Baltimore area. I took one look at Jaymie and her eyes and her smile were the things that stood out to me. We scheduled the couples engagement session and she was so nervous. I watched Preston take her hand and guide her though the session..he made her relax and just enjoy the time we had together shooting and she killed it! That experience with them, watching Preston be a gentleman to his bride, guiding her through something she wasn’t comfortable, seeing that dynamic to their relationship, the chivalry of his actions, made me fall in love with them. Their wedding day however, was a complete 180. My girl Jaymie as ready for me this time! The entire day was full of smiles and laughter and a few happy tears (especially from Preston when he saw her for the first time!) . I could not have asked for a more amazing, in love couple surrounded by family and friends clearly cut form the same cloth and these two. Check out Jaymie and Preston’s love story…”

We are smitten over this Dockside Engagement Session by Kir2ben Photography that shows off all of the beauty Annapolis has to offer. We love that this bride-to-be wore white and had a gorgeous lavender bouquet. Champagne is always the answer when it comes to celebrating! Their photographer, Kir, tells us,“Cale and Lori have met each other in college in North Carolina. After graduating from Duke, the two moved to Northern Virginia, where Cale grew up. The two have been dating for nearly six years. Wedding after wedding they would always be met with the question, “When are you guys finally tying the knot?” It wasn’t until this summer that Cale asked Lori to become Mrs. Gosnell. He planned the whole proposal to take place at his parent’s house in Annapolis. The pair were visiting for the weekend and wouldn’t you know it, it rained. After trying to convince Lori to come sit on the upstairs balcony, the two decided on the covered porch. Cale got down on one knee with a ring created by his very own aunt. This is the house where their relationship flourished for nearly all of their twenties so it was only fitting that Cale and Lori would opt to take engagement portraits on this piece of the Maryland coast. We set our alarms for sunrise one October Saturday and, wouldn’t you know it.. it rained again! After some slight rescheduling we got to snap these portraits on a perfectly cloudless morning. We even took a few pictures in the exact location Cale popped the question.”
