Heather of Heather Ryan Photography tells us,”This day was better than I could have dreamed. As high school sweethearts at Severna Park High School, Katie and Pat have been together 10 years and their love is a beautiful thing to witness. When Katie came down the aisle they were both in tears. I was too. The wedding day they’ve been dreaming of and planning was impeccable. As an event planner, Katie has an eye for details. From the Badgley Mischka bridesmaid gowns, to the pomegranate seeds dancing in the champagne, nothing was overlooked. When the bridal party made their entrances at the reception, it was clear — the party would be epic. Then Katie and Pat made their grand entrance and their first dance was the perfect mixture of fun and romantic. The DC Transit Band ROCKED and had everyone on their feet to dance. Even the speeches! Katie’s father kicked off the evening welcoming Pat into the family, Katie’s sister Paige had the room in happy tears, lastly Pat’s best man Colin had everyone doubled over in laughter. Seriously, some of the best speeches I have witnessed this year! What an incredible day. Congratulations again to the newlyweds!”
