Today we have a beautiful Baltimore engagement session from Jamie D Photography. The session started at Camden Yards, with baseball being one of the groom’s loves, and moved to Federal Hill Park, the place where he popped the question! We can’t get enough of the beautiful locales in Baltimore… it is so amazing how the same location can always seem new and gorgeous each time we receive a submission!

We love e-sessions with beautiful scenery, and we couldn’t love this session any more! If you’ve never been to Rock State Park we highly recommend it!
From the photographer: “Kathy and Matt are some of the most laid-back and relaxed people I’ve ever met. They spend the majority of their spare time either with their dog, or outside doing cool things and visiting cool places. Naturally I expected them to pick an awesome location for their engagement session, and I feel like Rock State Park truly fit them to a tee. The amazing waterfall backdrop is spectacular and unlike any location I’ve ever shot at before. I LOVE when my couples embrace who they truly are and weave it into their wedding experience.”
Calling all pet lovers! Have we got a post for you. Today we celebrate ‘man’s best friend’ in weddings with an adorably cute collection of photos submitted to us by area photographers!
For all dog lovers out there, myself included, we know that our pets are part of our family. And so with many engaged couples who own pets, it is only natural to want to include all of their family in their big day!
Often, couples include their pet as a part of the formal photos to show the inclusion as part of the family, and others may even use their pet as the ring bearer in the wedding! A really cute way to include your pet is to dress them in coordinating outfits with the wedding party, or include their picture on a wedding decoration of some sort. Whatever way the couple chooses to include their pet, the love between pet and owners is inevitably seen.
Have a photo of a pet at a wedding or session that you’d love to submit? We’d love to have it for our next pet inspiration post! Email us at hello@charmcitywed.com for more information.
Have you ever been to a wedding where the details and personal touches were just absolutely stunning? Although we did not attend this wedding, we’re sure this would have been one that stood out memorably! When we received Mitzi and Issac’s wedding (shot by Sarah Culver Photography), we absolutely fell in love with it. We’re sure you will too!
From Mitzi: “Isaac and I had a beautiful wedding during the month of October in 2011. Since our theme was vintage/rustic, we wanted to make sure every detail centered around this theme. We decided to have our reception at Liriodendron Mansion, a beautiful historic home in Bel Air, MD. All of our table centerpieces and decor were DIY projects done by close family and friends. Although we didn’t hire a videographer, our photographer, Sarah Culver, was able to capture all the details and specials moments of our wedding day. We enjoyed every moment!”
Absolutely LOVE this engagement session! So perfect!
Amy and Mitch I loved photographing your love in the city you love! I can not wait for October when you get married!!!
