Ripken Stadium Wedding by Gronde Photography

The Orioles regular season may be about to end, but we’ve got a great baseball themed wedding to keep the fans happy! This adorable couple got married in Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, MD, and everything about their wedding showed their love for baseball and their hometown teams.

More from Gronde Photography: “This was an amazing wedding for two amazing people! The bride, Di, is from Baltimore while the groom is from Seattle, WA. If there were ever two people that belonged together it was these two. After the father gave his daughter away, he threw a ceremonial first pitch to the groom symbolizing a true baseball hand off! After the kiss the bridal party danced around the bases and on the mound to “Party Rock Anthem” and then the groom slid home! The reception was full of DIY treats such as their custom labeled Jones Soda and baseball penants with popcorn and peanuts. The dancing didn’t stop until the night was over and the bride and groom left in a sea of sparklers. It was quite the event!”

A Visit to Bella Bridesmaid

Here at Charm City Wed, we strive to not only give our readers wedding inspiration, but also resources for their wedding needs in the Baltimore area. We recently had the chance to visit and talk to the lovely ladies at Bella Bridesmaid in Fells Point and we couldn’t wait to share it with you all!

The cozy space and hands on attention you receive make it feel like a one-of-a-kind boutique, but has the added bonuses of being a national chain with dress lines only carried by them. That’s a major plus for brides looking for unique dresses for their ‘maids, and an even bigger plus for bridesmaids that may not live in Baltimore.

As we walked around the space and looked at all of the different collections of dresses, we loved all the trends we saw! Whether short or long, soft colors or bold, there is a dress in the there for every ‘maid. This is definitely a place to check out in the Baltimore area!

Carnival Themed Wedding by Shelby Leigh Photography

Today’s stunning DIY wedding comes to you from Shelby Leigh Photography. When we stumbled across this goodness, we just had to share!

Lisa and Christian’s ceremony was held at a chapel outside of Baltimore, where the movie Runaway Bride was filmed, and the reception was tented at the bride’s family home. Their entire wedding reception was carnival themed – with tons of bright colors, cotton candy, and delicious popcorn. Every table was named after a different carnival ride and their cake was lined with rock candy. We’re in love!
