Fells Point Engagement by Andrea & Renata

Today we’re heading down to Fells Point for a gorgeous e-session from Andrea & Renata! This sweet couple decided to pay homage to their first date at a cafe with another cafe visit and a scrabble board. With shots by the water and along a picturesque street of row homes, we never get tired of seeing couples in Fells. Enjoy!

Colorful Wedding Shoot by Travis Curry Photography

We’ve got an absolutely gorgeous styled shoot for you all today, courtesy of Travis Curry Photography and Amie Decker Beauty via Two Bright Lights. We’ll let them take it from here…

From Travis: “Hair and Makeup is an important aspect to creating great photos – it’s all part of the experience for a bride on her wedding day and should not be a detail that is overlooked. I wanted to give inspiration to brides who wanted to a have a bit of fun with their styling, yet still look like their gorgeous self. I told Amie that I wanted to play with color in makeup – something you would see in fashion editorials that could be easily translated into a real wedding. My direction for hair was simple: I wanted it down and to show movement and Kelley did a great job at giving Sammy gorgeous volume and moveable locks!”

From Amie Decker: “We believe it is important for bridal beauty to be both timeless and current. Two of our favorite beauty trends we are incorporating these days is color and a style change. When people think bridal makeup they tend to think natural and neutrals but a pop of the right color can turn “pretty” into STUNNING. Also, many brides are deciding to do a dress change at their reception which is also the perfect time for a hair change. Changing to a party dress is a great opportunity for a beautiful accessory or a fun braid. The most important thing to remember is to take this opportunity to really let your personality shine, and your hair and makeup is a great avenue to use.”

Cylburn Arboretum Wedding by Sarah Culver Photography

This beautiful DIY garden wedding at Cylburn Arboretum will absolutely take your breath away. These photos, by Sarah Culver Photography, go to show that even a rainy wedding day is beautiful when met with a great attitude!

From the bride (Lynn): “The morning of our wedding dawned brisk and rainy, but the joy of the day felt like the glow of sunshine. I found myself surrounded by the faces of our dear family and friends, in a tent in the midst of an English garden, with all the touches we had been working on for months brought together in that moment. It was breathtakingly beautiful.”
