Clients speak highly of our wedding knowledge, attention to detail, great song selection, ingenious mixing, flexibility and great execution. We work with couples to create their dream wedding by providing timeline advice and music selections to complement their taste and event style. We love serving the Baltimore, Annapolis and DC area and have been continually rated the top DJ by Washingtonian Magazine and Modern Bride Magazine.

From Chris: I strive to continue to evolve and expand my knowledge of music and ask a lot of the small group of deejays who work for me. I value quality over quantity and thus have kept my company small in order to provide the very best for our clients. Each associate in my team adheres to the high standards I have set, and all share a passion for their craft, pay the ultimate attention to detail and are extremely professional and easy to work with. At every event a DJ and assistant is on hand to help set-up. We use the best sound and music equipment, continually monitor volume and make sure the event is carried out to the clients request.

How did you find yourself in the wedding industry?

When I was in middle school, I began listening to The Cure and New Order and started to really appreciate music. To earn extra money, I deejayed in college at Penn State. In my early days I spent a lot of time working for different DJ’s to learn the trade and deejaying all different types of events, including weddings. I began to notice things that I felt could be done better to make weddings more elegant and distinctive so I went out on my own with the desire to make weddings the best they can be.

What inspires you or your work?

Our events are highly client driven; we want the outcome of our weddings and events to be the music that our clients love. That being said, I am inspired by great music and love creating playlists and mixes to make a wedding the best it can be. We have a huge variety of music in our repertoire, but each event is tailored to the music choices from our clients.

What do you love about working weddings?

Weddings are elegant and happy occasions! I love seeing our guests in all age ranges enjoying themselves, from the 20-something bride to her 70-something grandparent and everyone in between. It’s a joy to work with couples carry out one of the most important days of their life.

What’s your favorite part about a wedding?

I love dance time and seeing our couple and their guests really enjoying the party and dancing it up to great music.

What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned in your field?

To be prepared for any circumstance, so much can happen last minute – whether it’ a weather related emergency or change of music preference from the couple. Any good wedding professional must know how to quickly adjust and make last minute decisions that will most benefit our client and their event.

A good piece of advice you can offer to brides and/or grooms to be:

Make decisions that are based on your style and preferences over wedding trends and what you think you should do. In the end, you’ll be happiest that you chose to follow your heart.

Baltimore City Engagement by Sam Hurd

It was a cold day in Baltimore, yet Margarita and Mark were such troopers that you can hardly tell. They explored our beautiful city in all its glory and their love was captured through creative imagery. Thanks to the talented Sam Hurd for the photos!

Agricultural History Farm Park Wedding by An Endless Pursuit

We are absolutely in love with today’s gorgeous country wedding by An Endless Pursuit! The picture of the groom seeing his bride for the first time is by far our favorite. :) We can’t do the pictures justice, so we’ll let someone who was there describe them a bit better!

From the bride, Libby: “George and I were married at the Agricultural History Farm Park in Derwood, MD. George is a fourth generation farmer and I have worked the business with him for six years now. George and I had a few requests for our wedding day; one was that all of the food be local and if possible produced on our farm, and two that all of our guests and loved ones felt comfortable and relaxed. The ceremony was under an enormous oak tree with ball mason jars filled with pale shades of wild flowers hanging from the branches, swaying in the breeze in the back yard overlooking the corn field. The guests meandered over to the large red barn for cocktail hour while a six piece band played bluegrass and other rustic fare. No seating chart was implemented for dinner, we all sat were we saw fit and our dear friends from “The Clementine” served us produce and meats from our farm, on heaping platters, family style. After our local and sustainable meal our guests headed back to the barn for dancing and desert composed of home made, country style pies and Zahradka Farm blend Zeke’s Coffee. Our special day far exceeded our expectations!”
