Friday Wrap-Up and What’s In Store

It’s been a busy, exciting week over here at Charm City Wed! On Monday we announced that we would be hosting our first ever wedding show, The Mix Event! If you’re a wedding vendor or an engaged couple, head on over to sign up for more information.

We’ll be launching the full site soon with vendor information, when tickets will go on sale, and all sorts of other details. Right now we’re having fun behind the scenes: trying to decide what our signature cocktail/mocktail will be, thinking of decor, and dreaming about what fabulous things will make it into the grab bags. Merry Acres Farm Wedding by Fogarty Photography

Today’s beautiful wedding is brought to you by Fogarty Photography. Heather & Brooks’ celebration took place at Heather’s family farm, Merry Acres, and we just love the feel of their laid-back special day. We’re simply smitten over the obvious love of this sweet couple and the delicious homemade pies. Since Liz wrote a little snippet from her perspective, we’ll let her take it from here!

From Liz: “The venue was perfect, not just because it was gorgeous, but this is actually Heather’s family farm – Merry Acres Farm. It was a perfect sunset ceremony followed by dancing and lots of good food. Ask any guest, and they will tell you that the pies were the best part. And guess who made them? Her maid of honor.

The whole day was a perfect reflection of who they are as a couple: chill and super fun. I also have to add that these are two smart cookies. They are both PhD students and that is how they met – at a lab. Can’t get better than that!”
