Eccentric, bright and vivid describes these Remington and Rawlings Conservatory Engagement Photos perfectly!  Erika Layne Photography shares a bit about their session with Kristan and Kevin, who were glammed up by Elena Ware Bailey.

“We are so in love with this gorgeous couple! Kristan and Kevin drove all the way from Philadelphia to Downtown Baltimore for their engagement shoot. The morning of was so cloudy, we were afraid they were coming all this way only to have a rainy engagement shoot. Well the minute our stars showed up for their shoot, the clouds broke and the sun came shining through. Much like Kristan and Kevin, this session was meant to be! Once the universe cleared up the weather for their shoot, Kristan and Kevin shared a bite at the colorful and funky Paper Moon Diner on W 29th St. The food was so yummy! Our next stop was the Howard Peters Rawlings Conservatory and Botanic Gardens, for a little picnic in their gardens. Both were so beautiful! We can’t even begin to name everything we saw, cacti, banana trees and the most amazing orchid room! Though by far everyone’s favorite wing of the Conservatory was the Palm house, which was built in 1888. There was so much beauty and history, not just in the Palm House but in the entire shoot. From Kevin’s great great Grandfather’s antique pocket watch to the vintage inspired dress, there was so many gorgeous details! At the end of the shoot we found the cutest birdhouse nestled at the bottom of a tree. In retrospect each location really captured the spirits of both Kevin and Kristan. Kevin is funky, colorful and fun, and Kristan is like a delicate flower, beautiful both inside and out.”
