We love a good surprise, and this Oregon Ridge Engagement Proposal from Johnna Frantz is just precious!

“Tyler spent many weeks planning a surprise proposal for Kristin! He discovered this private area at Oregon Ridge State Park where he could carry out his perfect vision. The signs surrounding their private island are hand written by Tyler on varying shades of pink paper, Kristin’s favorite color. They are excerpts from emails they send to each other every Monday morning as a way to start their week with a smile! He wrote each one, with the date it was sent, and strung them all around the island. He asked her to meet him for a picnic in the park and of course she showed up with a picnic basket. So cute!! He also hired musicians from their church to sing two of her favorite songs, Taylor Swift’s “Everything Has Changed” and Hillsong’s “Oceans.” He even raided her closet the week before and brought her two dresses and shoes to choose from for the engagement session after the proposal. He thought of everything! I’ve known Tyler for a few years and I’ve never seen him so happy. The love between these two is magical and I was honored to capture their love and the start of their life together!”
