We love how Belvedere Hotel weddings are always so classically beautiful, each with their own style! Thanks to Katie Nesbitt Photography for sharing this one with us, as well as a few words about the couple’s wedding day! “Lindsie and Tom were finally wed in September at their gorgeous Belvedere Hotel wedding. The Belvedere was built in 1903 as the first luxury hotel in Baltimore. Famous guests included F. Scott Fitzgerald, President Kennedy, and John D. Rockefeller! Lindsie and Tom chose pink, gold, and cream as their wedding day colors. These soft hues were found in all kinds of feminine touches throughout their wedding day, including gold glitter lined envelopes with their stationery suite, and fluffy pink and cream centerpieces set in gold vases.”
We’re excited to share these gorgeous Clipper Mill engagement photos from Photography by Brea! She says “All good things are worth the wait. This session was rescheduled twice due to various different circumstances, and almost a third time on the day we finally made it work due to rain. But as we checked the hourly forecast, the rain kept getting pushed later and later, and we decided to go for it! I was so excited to finally spend time with these two, and had an absolute blast. We decided to start off at Clipper Mill, my new favorite go-to location in Baltimore and then finished up at Brewer’s Hill, which was my first time in the area! Mike is all about Natty Boh and so we had to get the sign in a few photos! And as we were wrapping up, the rain finally caught up with us, and for just a few minutes, we stayed out in it and it was magical.”
Rachael Boer Photography shares a little bit about this Frederick Engagement Session! “Kim and John were looking for a historic urban setting for their engagement portraits. I instantly thought of Frederick, MD, since the downtown area is extremely cute and offers a lot of variety. We scheduled this session for sunset and had a great time exploring old town Frederick, shooting in alleys, parks, sidewalks, and street corners. What we captured is an engagement album full of love, laughter, and gorgeous sunlight.”
Baltimore to it’s very core, this Chase Court wedding was simply fine, hon! The bride, Katie, shares some insight into the planning and execution of the big day!
“Being a proud Baltimore city resident since 2009, I was set on having our wedding within the city proper. Justin and I knew we found the gem we were looking for during our tour of Chase Court with owner David Egan. A truly magical location, our visit left me confident that we made the perfect decision for our wedding venue. I was able to imagine exactly what our wedding theme would be; rustic ethereal garden.
My mother and bridesmaids gathered early to primp and prep in my suite at The Empire House located directly across the street from Chase Court. Justin and I chose to have a “First Look” so that we could experience the moment privately and have extra time to spend with our friends and family after the ceremony. Our wedding ceremony was seriously the most perfect wedding I have ever seen, but then again, I’m obviously biased. My florist and good friend, Kelley Heuisler, amazed me with her ability to capture the ethereal feeling we were going for.
For our grand exit, our guests lined up on either side of the long flower lined walkway at the entry of Chase Court holding wedding wands made by my mother. Justin and I ran through the tunnel to hoots, hollers and hand slaps on our way to our new life together. Our after party was at one of our local favorites, The Brewer’s Art. Their downstairs bar was the perfect location for all our guests to gather and let loose. We finished off our celebration singing karaoke at The Hippo with yours truly singing “Going to the Chapel” all the while wearing my wedding gown until the very end. With a stylish change in shoe attire, of course!”
Thanks so much for the awesome feature! Still is one of my faves!
Great couple! Can’t wait to host their wedding in August!
