Baltimore to it’s very core, this Chase Court wedding was simply fine, hon!  The bride, Katie, shares some insight into the planning and execution of the big day!

“Being a proud Baltimore city resident since 2009, I was set on having our wedding within the city proper. Justin and I knew we found the gem we were looking for during our tour of Chase Court with owner David Egan. A truly magical location, our visit left me confident that we made the perfect decision for our wedding venue. I was able to imagine exactly what our wedding theme would be; rustic ethereal garden.

My mother and bridesmaids gathered early to primp and prep in my suite at The Empire House located directly across the street from Chase Court. Justin and I chose to have a “First Look” so that we could experience the moment privately and have extra time to spend with our friends and family after the ceremony.  Our wedding ceremony was seriously the most perfect wedding I have ever seen, but then again, I’m obviously biased. My florist and good friend, Kelley Heuisler, amazed me with her ability to capture the ethereal feeling we were going for. 

For our grand exit, our guests lined up on either side of the long flower lined walkway at the entry of Chase Court holding wedding wands made by my mother. Justin and I ran through the tunnel to hoots, hollers and hand slaps on our way to our new life together. Our after party was at one of our local favorites, The Brewer’s Art. Their downstairs bar was the perfect location for all our guests to gather and let loose. We finished off our celebration singing karaoke at The Hippo with yours truly singing “Going to the Chapel” all the while wearing my wedding gown until the very end. With a stylish change in shoe attire, of course!”
