Charm City Wed Re-Launch Party

“What do you like better, Christmas or Wedding Season? WEDDING SEASON!” Borrowing a line from one of my fave movies (Wedding Crashers, duh!), we recently kicked off the start of wedding season, and have barely had time to look back! But since today is our birthday, I figured we’d take a moment to rewind for a minute. About two months ago, Katey+Ashley from lemon and lime event design helped to design/plan/execute a Re-Launch Party for Charm City Wed at Barcocina in Fells Point. I was overwhelmed by the love & support from my fellow wedding and event industry colleagues! Today seems like a great day to share the images that Living Radiant Photography captured from this amazing event. A huge thanks to all the vendors who contributed to this fun party, and CHEERS to a great wedding season!

This Hollow Creek Golf Club wedding from Spence Photographics, combined rustic and elegant elements, for the perfect intimate wedding. They made sure to include their family members in different aspects of the wedding day. Heidi’s sister and maid of honor, Ashley, did the girls’ makeup, and Adam’s cousin and dad performed music during the ceremony. And we absolutely love the photo of the bride+groom with both sets of their parents – with a sign showing the tally of how many days they had been married – for Heidi+Adam – Day 1! Simply precious and one that they will treasure! Congratulations Heidi+Adam!

Wedding at Herrington on the Bay by Bradley Images

Bradley Images shared this waterfront wedding at Herrington on the Bay with us, and we loved hearing about “The Proposal!”

During the annual 4th of July trip to Becky’s family’s cottage, Ahmed flew in a few days before Becky, using a clever cover story. Ahmed said he wanted to take her father golfing for his birthday (which falls two days before July 4th). Ahmed coordinated the golf outing with Becky’s two brothers and her dad. During the outing, he shared the news and asked her father for her hand in marriage. The following day, they traveled up north to join Becky and the rest of her family at the cottage. During their stay, Ahmed waited and waited, searching for the perfect location and perfect moment to propose. On the 3rd of July, Ahmed and Becky spent the entire day down at the water going out on boat rides, tubing and enjoying the downtime away from the city. At sunset, while lying on a hammock overlooking the lake, Ahmed popped the question. With only her father and one brother in the know, it was a complete surprise to Becky and the rest of her family who were enjoying a bonfire close by. Both families were overjoyed at the news, but no one was more excited about the proposal than Becky and Ahmed.

Wedding at Tabrizi’s by Dana Cubbage Weddings

Dana Cubbage Weddings shares the story of Francesca+Dave’s wedding at Tabrizi’s, and how the weather factored in! “As I drove into Baltimore on the morning of Francesca + Dave’s wedding, I checked the weather app on my phone one last time. The question? To bring along my umbrellas or not. The radar and hourly forecast were both pretty bleak, but I said to myself – “I’m feeling lucky – Mother Nature, please don’t let us down!” And she most certainly did not. Despite rain throughout the Baltimore area, their October 2014 wedding day went off without a hitch! Once Francesca was in her gown, I checked with her one last time – to make sure she didn’t want to opt for Plan B for their First Look. “Nope!” she exclaimed. “Let’s do it on Federal Hill as planned… I’m a ballsy bride!” And at that exact moment, I KNEW it was going to be an absolutely fabulous day. Francesca + Dave’s epic First Look on top of Federal Hill in Baltimore is one of my all-time favorite First Looks. I mean, that view paired with the beautiful overcast light! That’s tough to beat. After their First Look, we were able to grab photos with their bridal party + family – then headed to Tabrizi’s for a few more photos by the marina before heading to the church. Overcast skies and light sprinkles here and there – the weather turned out to be PERFECT! Francesca’s uncle officiated an absolutely stunning ceremony at St. Leo the Great church in Little Italy. What an absolutely beautiful church and beautiful ceremony! After their ceremony, we headed over to the reception at Tabrizi’s, where Francesca + Dave danced the night away with their closest family + friends.”
