Dana Cubbage Weddings shares the story of Francesca+Dave’s wedding at Tabrizi’s, and how the weather factored in! “As I drove into Baltimore on the morning of Francesca + Dave’s wedding, I checked the weather app on my phone one last time. The question? To bring along my umbrellas or not. The radar and hourly forecast were both pretty bleak, but I said to myself – “I’m feeling lucky – Mother Nature, please don’t let us down!” And she most certainly did not. Despite rain throughout the Baltimore area, their October 2014 wedding day went off without a hitch! Once Francesca was in her gown, I checked with her one last time – to make sure she didn’t want to opt for Plan B for their First Look. “Nope!” she exclaimed. “Let’s do it on Federal Hill as planned… I’m a ballsy bride!” And at that exact moment, I KNEW it was going to be an absolutely fabulous day. Francesca + Dave’s epic First Look on top of Federal Hill in Baltimore is one of my all-time favorite First Looks. I mean, that view paired with the beautiful overcast light! That’s tough to beat. After their First Look, we were able to grab photos with their bridal party + family – then headed to Tabrizi’s for a few more photos by the marina before heading to the church. Overcast skies and light sprinkles here and there – the weather turned out to be PERFECT! Francesca’s uncle officiated an absolutely stunning ceremony at St. Leo the Great church in Little Italy. What an absolutely beautiful church and beautiful ceremony! After their ceremony, we headed over to the reception at Tabrizi’s, where Francesca + Dave danced the night away with their closest family + friends.”
