A rainy afternoon couldn’t put a damper on this sweet Anchor Inn Wedding by NK Swingle Photography! The bride tells us, “We wanted the wedding to reflect our personalities and interests without necessarily fitting into one specific wedding theme. Therefore, the feel of our wedding turned out to be a blend of nautical and rustic, while also highlighting our love of wine. Our goal when planning the wedding was to make the event feel intimate and personal, with a beautiful ceremony, followed by a lively dance party reception. The bride and groom, our mothers, and a small group of the bride’s close family friends created the decorations to add distinct personal touches to the wedding. One of the most influential aspects of our wedding was our venue – the Anchor Inn –, which we chose almost immediately after getting engaged. One major reason we were instantly attracted to it was our love our water, and the ocean in particular; we typically plan vacations exploring nearby bodies of water, and so we had our hearts set on finding a venue with a peaceful marine backdrop.”
