Today we are featuring a salon that offers premium organic products, impeccable customer care and the ability to care for your hair as no one else has. Solluni salon offers a variety of natural skin and hair care products that are vegan, gluten free, not tested on animals and cruelly free. Not only are the products sustainable, but they offer your hair and skin a total experience of health and wellbeing. All products are formulated in Baltimore by the salon owner Eunhee Kim. These locally made hair and skin care products have developed a cult following that even I can not deny. I may be slightly addicted to the Amasing 1 skin creme (that was the first product of this entire product line). Oh, and the curly hair styling product, wow, my locks are in love.

Location

Solluni salon is located in Quarry Lake on Greenspring in Baltimore. Walk into the salon and your treated by a clean and modern pallete. The shelves are filled with all the products offered by the salon. Even the shampoo has been formulated in house and is what is used for every client. The salon is clean and intimate. Organic loose leaf tea is served, premium coffee and bottle water are available. Love Dust is by far my favorite herbal tea- created specifically by the owner for a refreshing and balancing experience, and for this die-hard coffee fanatic, that is saying something!

Experience

When you walk in the door you are greeted, treated to a luxury shampoo with the high-end Solluni products. Your stylist makes a plan with you to ensure your is cared for, healthy and looks it best at all times. Styles are modern, yet there is a focus is on healthy hair and natural treatments. So say goodbye to the over processed and over styled hair and see how your hair can look its best. This salon was created with the intention to care for clients and to work with them towards their hair goals. The stylists that work here have been fully vetted by the owner to ensure that the experience for all clients, regardless of the stylist, is one of quality and care. There is no such thing as a bad hair cut here! Services are limited to those that care for the scalp, hair and wellbeing of the client. Solluni is a toxic free environment, so you will not be overwhelmed by the smell of perms or the harsh smell of hair straightener.

History & Founder’s Story

With 25 years of experience in the beauty industry, Eunhee experienced a significant lack of natural wellness products on the market. Eunhee taught herself herbology and chemistry, with a focus on natural botanicals. This was driven by her sensitivity to products used in cosmetic and salon products and the knowledge that many products we use are toxic and creating more harm than healing. Through this process, she discovered a variety of natural botanicals that heal and rejuvenate the skin. Clients often asked about healing remedies for burns, bruises and other injuries to the skin. Eunhee was able to dramatically improve their healing with products that she had created for herself. She became passionate about sharing her knowledge and creations with others and, thus, established Solluni, a beauty line made with vegan, gluten free, cruelty free and organic ingredients. In 2018, Eunhee opened a salon, also called Solluni, which features all of Eunhee’s proprietary hair products in a toxic-free environment. Products are available for purchase in store and online.
