We just adore this Elegant Baltimore Country Club Wedding by Artful Weddings complete with a Baltimore themed Favor bar! Anne of Artful Weddings tells us,“Even though, Katelyn and Greg attended the same high school, they didn’t really get to know each other until they both had graduated college and began spending time together through mutual friends.  Katelyn always knew she wanted her wedding to look and feel classic and timeless. She chose Baltimore Country Club for it’s classic look and wanted to accentuate the look, not overpower it. She chose a soft color palette that let the beautiful venue shine. Her planners, Leslie McKenzie and Beth Bailey, of Elizabeth Bailey Weddings, helped her with the extra details that gave the evening the personal touch Katelyn and Greg wanted. And The Floral Studio of Roland Park provided gorgeous bouquets and centerpieces of mostly cream and the softest blush pink with subtle pops of pale green and gold. Katelyn had an open mind when it came to dress shopping and wanted to try a variety of styles. When she tried on the Amsale dress at Hitched in Georgetown, she fell in love. It was a lace and tulle ball gown that made her feel like a princess in every sense of the word. It’s in a similar style to her grandmother’s vintage ball gown that her mother also wore on her wedding day, so she chose to wear the veil they both wore for her something old. In keeping with tradition, she borrowed her other grandmother’s lace handkerchief and wore her sixpense in her shoe. Keeping with a Baltimore theme, Baltimore Country Club provided a lovely raw bar for cocktails, followed by the Eastern Shore’s most famous cake, a Smith Island, from Sugar Bakers. Guests enjoyed favors with a Baltimore bar at the reception – including UTZ crab chips, Otterbein cookies, Jeppi nuts, Fisher’s popcorn and Goetze caramels. The couple topped off the fabulous wedding with a honeymoon on the Amalfi Coast of Italy”
