Today we get to view a rarely seen part of the Evergreen Museum & Library – the North Wing Bakst Theater, and the Far East Room in this Asian wedding from Leah Rhianne Photography! Leah shares more about the couple’s big day. “Ying and Longyu met while studying for their PHd’s at Johns Hopkins University. They are both from China but from different parts of the country, and their families flew all the way to Baltimore for their wedding. For many of them it was their first time in the USA. Half of the ceremony was spoken in Chinese, the other half in English. Ying and Longyu held their wedding at the Evergreen Museum near their campus. Their ceremony was held in the upper garden, their reception dinner in the North Wing Bakst Theater and they ended their event in the Far East Room. These are the lesser-utilized rooms at this venue but with their asian-flare they made the perfect location for this couple.”
