  • If you didn’t love going to the zoo enough, did you know that you can have Breakfast With The Animals?! Yes, you read that right. The Maryland Zoo at Baltimore offers this one-of-a-kind experience that will bring you even closer to your favorite animals. Enjoy a hot, catered breakfast and plenty of photo-ops during your visit… including a few close ups!
  • You know what’s happening right now? Baltimore Restaurant Week, that’s what! Don’t waste another second and make a reservation at one of the delicious participating restaurants, now through August 4th. (Not available for this restaurant week? Check out Baltimore COUNTY’S Restaurant Week, happening Aug. 9th – 25th.)
  • The National Aquarium won’t give an exact date, but sometime this month, they are debuting a new exhibit: Blacktip Reef Comes To Life! As you know if you’ve been to the aquarium before, the first exhibit you typically see is the large pool with the stingrays and sea turtle. This is now being transformed into an Indo-Pacific reef, and it is sure to be an amazing sight to see!
  • There are multiple locations around Baltimore that become open-air theaters during the summer, offering a free movie and starry view. One such place is the AVAM’s Flicks From The Hill, where you not only can enjoy a free movie, but also free admission to the AVAM from 5pm – 9pm on movie nights! And, unlike a lot of the open-air theater locations, they also provide a rain location in case the weather does not cooperate.

Happy August, LoveBirds!
