Although our blog is based in Baltimore, we love to feature weddings both in and out of the city limits. Today’s creative wedding took place in Lancaster, PA at the Landis Valley Village & Farm Museum. A huge thank you goes to tPoz Photography for sharing her work with us via Two Bright Lights. We’ll let Teri take it from here…
“Dana and Charlie have been together for 12 years – since high school! Dana took a letterpressing class and created all of the invitations, programs, coasters, and other paper goods herself. They kept with the Baltimore Ravens colors of Purple & Black, as the bridesmaids wore their own unique black dress, while the groomsmen wore purple ties.
Cocktail hour was complete with yard games: checkers, baggo, croquet, and more! Their reception tables were decorated in a rustic romantic fashion, with burlap table runners, and coasters reading “For your Brew – From the Brewers.” Dana hand-painted large black canisters with Ravens players’ jersey numbers, which held chilled bottles of champagne for guests.
In lieu of favors, the couple made a generous donation to the Charm City Animal Rescue. Instead of a traditional wedding cake, Pumpkin Pie, Shoefly Pie, and Peach Pie was served. Their group of friends had an amazing bond, and the love they share for one another can be felt a mile away.”
