L.A. Birdie Photography captured this beautiful Howard County Conservancy wedding, and shared these words with us: “From the personalized crab mallets, Natty Boh wine glasses, and Orioles/Ravens cake, Karen and Jeff’s day was sprinkled with love for their city! I knew when I saw the details of their wedding that they would be perfect for a Baltimore wedding blog. Not only did they have these fun details, but also a gorgeous outdoor venue near Baltimore, surrounded by family and love and blue cocktails. Karen was a little nervous before she saw Jeff, but after they had their laughter-filled first look, they both relaxed and rocked the day away. Jeff is a Baltimore City policeman, Karen is a nanny, and I feel like this day captured THEM. It was a very fun wedding to photograph and I’m so glad they chose me to capture it.”

Jaclyn & Tom are very avid sports fans and having been raised in the Baltimore area, they are loyal to their hometown teams! So when it came time to planning their waterfront wedding at Kurtz’s Beach, they knew they had to feature their love of the Orioles & Ravens. From the featured colors – orange & purple, to the other Baltimore related details.(crab basket for cards, Baltimore area named tables, Old Bay canister centerpieces, Old Bay, Berger Cookie & Crab mallet favors) They made sure there was no question, that they were hosting a Baltimore themed wedding.

Because they love life on the ocean, a Chesapeake Bay Beach Club wedding set the perfect tone for their big day. Lauryn & John simply fell in love with the views at sunset from the Tavern on the Bay Ballroom. Their love for family was deep that day and Lauryn requested a photo holding her parents portraits. Tying her grandparents wedding rings to her bouquet honored them, as they couldn’t be there that day. And on the escort card table, Lauryn also honored her mother with a piece of her wedding dress on display along with both of their parents wedding portraits. The weather was perfect as everyone gathered from across the country to celebrate the start of their new family.
