Baltimore Wedding at The Belvedere by C&I Photographers

Lexi from C&I Photographers shares her point of view about Casey+Kevin’s slightly rainy Baltimore wedding at The Belvedere. “Honestly, since I met Casey & Kevin in a Starbucks in Harbor East, I’ve been counting down the days until this moment. At their engagement shoot in Quiet Waters Park, I totally fell in love with these two, because they are just so darn sweet and bubbly and love on each other SO much. The morning of Casey & Kevin’s wedding was pretty rainy, but they had the best & happiest outlook on it, which by the way, makes everything turn out awesome. With lots of champagne popping and an Amazon Prime shipment of umbrellas that arrived literally as we were walking out the door to head over to Harbor East, no drizzle could bring us down. Casey & Kevin’s first look was the absolute sweetest, complete with a pirate ship blowing it’s foghorn for them as it passed by (aka epic)! Their ceremony was at the Mount Vernon Place United Methodist Church and Asbury House which had the most awesome architecture and the prettiest red doors. We finished off the night at my favorite venue, The Belvedere, and man, the day could not have been more sweet, or more beautiful.”

This Butterbee Farm wedding styled shoot from Urban Row Photography, is as sweet as this weather has been lately! “For this styled shoot, I was inspired by the idea of ‘sugar and spice’ as the seasons shift; the metaphor that spice brings interest to food, drink, a couple’s relationship and most simply, to our senses. The backdrop was a “beyond organic” cut flower farm in Baltimore, MD that provides fresh, sustainably grown flowers to florists, couples, brides and anyone who appreciates them! A look that had deep, rich colors to it was important to me since the farm has such a variety of soft, natural spaces to take advantage of in celebrating the joy that flowers bring to all; I incorporated elements that relate to all 5 senses by using local Baltimore creatives and artisans for every detailed element. I couldn’t resist featuring sparkly glam jewelry by an uber talented local Baltimore artist!”

We love the personal details, especially the cute little ring box, in this Fells Point Maritime Museum Wedding from JFannon Photography! Casey and Ben Bor’s day was full of love and happiness. These two are the epitome of #relationshipgoals. Their love was infectious, as captured by Jill Fannon’s images. “With her parents’ home playing the perfect backdrop to their happily ever after, Melanie knew that she wanted their wedding to have a warm, inviting and intimate environment. They dreamed up a wedding that was timeless and classic, filled with cream and ivory accents that were lit up by soft candlelight. Fresh blooms and mixed metallics kept their wedding bright and modern, while maintaining the warm and cozy vibe that they imagined. When planning their special day, Melanie and Cale were always looking for ways to infuse their individual personalities and their relationship into their special day. From signature drinks that were named after their dogs to the margaritas at cocktail hour (which signified their Cinco de Mayo anniversary) all the way to the menu filled with their favorite comfort foods, their guests were treated to a truly personalized day that belonged to the pair. Hot donuts and pizza food trucks capped off a perfect day for all in attendance. Rather than rent furniture and risk weather (or wine!) damage, Melanie and Cale decided to purchase a lot of antique furniture from thrift stores and painted them to match their wedding theme. They were both thrilled with how easy it was, as well as the savings that could be allocated elsewhere! Despite being “out-vowed” by her now-husband, Melanie has fond memories of the ceremony when a family friend who has performed a number of weddings in Cale’s family wed them. Melanie and Cale encourage other couples to stick with what’s important to you when planning your wedding. “I’m a people pleaser which made wedding planning very difficult,” she shares. “I can genuinely say the wedding we had was exactly the wedding I wanted from the beginning. That, however, does not mean I did not waver on my decisions multiple times throughout the wedding process. Colors, themes, decor, dress, wedding date – you name it, I got opinions on it. On a day where you want to be a great host, it’s hard not to feel obligated to make others happy but I’m really glad I stuck with my gut and planned the wedding of my dreams”
