Britney Clause Photography captured this Mt. Washington Mill Dye House wedding & we are thrilled to share it! “The second I pulled up for this Mt. Washington Mill Dye House wedding, it took my breath away. The fresh green from the living tree in the patio contrasts against the brick warehouse wrapped in glowing string lights straight out of a modern fairytale. Everything about the space has amazing Baltimore history behind it, which fits perfectly into Katie and Matt’s day and the Charm City elements in their decor. The addition of small Baltimore details like the custom made koozies and the unique Ravens, Orioles, and Terps cake topper brings the city indoors. Pops of fresh florals from Local Color Flowers and the delicious sliders from Copper Kitchen made every guest and vendor feel at home. It was because of Katie and Matt’s incredibly relaxed personalities that they were able to fully enjoy their day. There was no stress involved thanks to their go with the flow mentality, which really allowed them to dance, hangout, and have a blast with their daughter and every single guest underneath the twinkling lights of the Dye House. The duo also incorporated more of the city into their wedding with portraits at Fort McHenry.”

Lindsay Eileen Photography shares this Vineyards of Marys Meadow wedding with us & has this to say: “Many brides spend quite a bit of the time before their big day worrying about the weather, as a rainstorm or blizzard can make the best of plans go slightly awry. But what better way to ensure that you are properly prepared for whatever the weather may bring than to marry a weatherman? Christine met Charlie before a mutual friend’s wedding many states away in Atlanta, Georgia. They reconnected on the dance floor later that night, and as Charlie mentioned in his beautifully written vows, he knew she was the girl for him when he asked her if she liked to twirl, to which Christine promptly responded, “I love to twirl!!”?? The Vineyards of Mary’s Meadow in Darlington, Maryland, provided a breathtaking combination of farmland and vineyard complete with a reconstructed barn to hold the reception in. I love watching the groom’s face as he sees his bride for the first time, and Charlie certainly didn’t disappoint! You can see just how excited he is to be taking this amazing woman to be his wife!?? Their ceremony took place at the foot of the wood-and-stone barn and in front of the rolling horse pasture, and their officiant Nathan McDade challenged the couple to choose each other every day, and reminded them to keep Christ the center of their relationship. Christine and Charlie chose to write their own vows, which is something that I absolutely love! It was a truly heartwarming ceremony, and their first kiss as husband and wife brought smiles to the faces of everyone present. When I think about Christine and Charlie, two things immediately come to mind: sports and a desire to travel the world. Their blue-and-gold (West Virginia anyone?) reception was definitely a reflection of this, as tables were given team names and rivalries were discussed in goodhearted fun. Thunderkiss Entertainment joined in the fun by playing several university fight songs throughout the evening. Charlie and Christine’s red velvet and cream cheese cake was one of the most delicious wedding cakes I have ever tasted, and they chose an adorable custom cake topper proudly bearing the words “Mr. and Mrs. Woodrum.” As the sun set on their wedding night, Charlie and Christine danced, laughed, greeted their guests, and twirled the night away.”
