Ceresville Mansion Wedding by Love Life Images

An intimate, traditional winter wedding is just what this wintery day needs! We absolutely love all of the perfectly picked details, including the couple’s exquisite wedding cake and the bride’s shrug.

From photographer Elisha of Love Life Images: “Kaitlin and Michael had a very intimate wedding with only the nearest and dearest in attendance. Held at the beginning of February it was quite cold, but the light from that day was magical and well worth braving the frigid outdoors. This was the first time I had been to Ceresville Mansion. The grounds are gorgeous and the mansion was filled with charm. Antique mirrors, timeless architectural elements and vintage floral patterns were in abundance. This very much suited Kaitlin and Micheal’s classic style. Such a sweet couple!”

Popeye Inspired Engagement by Anne Herbert Photography

We’ve got a treat for you all today! This sweet couple has an awesome story behind their styled engagement shoot, and we couldn’t wait to share.

From photographer, Anne Herbert Photography: “Nick and Delia wanted their engagement shoot to celebrate their fun loving spirit as a couple as well as their love of the place they call home, the city of Baltimore. After returning from two years of Peace Corps service in West Africa, Nick has a greater appreciation of Charm City than ever before. He met Delia by chance outside of a restaurant in Fells Point one night: she grabbed his phone and put her number in it and the rest was history! Delia, working to obtain her PhD in Neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University, is originally from a small fishing village in Spain and moved to the states with her parents when she was eight. When she was a child she would watch cartoons of Popeye and Olive Oil and loved that the show was about the sea and sailing. She says that Nick reminds her a bit of the strong, kind character Popeye, so we decided to style the shoot as a high end, editorial version of Popeye and Olive Oil. The couple really wanted to have some fun with their session and show off their sense of humor. We were thrilled to work with the Downton Sailing Center, located in the heart of Baltimore on the Inner Harbor! Not to mention the iconic Domino Sugar sign could not have served as a better backdrop!”

Federal Hill Proposal by Evelyn Alas Photography

We’re absolutely tickled to bring you this sweet Federal Hill proposal caught on camera!
From photographer, Evelyn Alas Photography: “Treven and Jamie met in the Fall of 2010 at Christopher Newport University in Virginia where they both attended college. They were in the same general friend circle but it was not until Fall 2013, when they took a class together, that their friendship grew deeper. They found themselves hanging out before and after class, and strategically planning how they could sit next to each other in class among all their other friends.”

“After a few weeks, Treven realized that he considered Jamie as much more than a friend, and got the courage to tell her. They went on a date soon after and knew it was right– the transition from best friends to a couple was effortless. After being together over a year, there was no doubt in their minds that they wanted to be together forever.”

“Treven had a full day planned out before proposing to Jamie. They first spent the day at the science center. Then after Starbucks break, Treven suggested they watch the sunset at the top of Federal Hill. Unbeknownst to Jamie, I was documenting candidly her surprise proposal. She didn’t hesitate to say yes!”
