Cylburn Arboretum Wedding by Anna Schmidt Photography

Even though a little rain forced their garden ceremony inside, this beautiful Cylburn Arboretum Wedding rocked!  Congratulations to Kyle+Chuck!

A little word from the photographer, Anna Schmidt Photography:  “When Chuck and Kyle set out on their wedding planning adventure in Winter of 2012 they knew a few things they wanted:an outside wedding, they preferred the fall, and they wanted it to be an awesome party. After meeting with Terry from the Manor Tavern they knew the local concept and the amazing food were a perfect reflection of their tastes. Terry offered a number of possible locations to add to their search. A few weeks later Kyle and her mom visited Cylburn Arboretum, it took one walk up the drive to the mansion to realize this was the place. The local Baltimore garden theme wedding for these two Baltimore natives was born. Although their garden wedding was brought inside due to torrential rain storms in October, it did not stop them. The had local food, beer, and flowers, and even hired local help to make things like custom jewelry. Kyle, a graphic designer made all the printed materials for the wedding, along with canvas pictures to adorn the walls. Despite the rain, they made the best of the situation to celebrate their marriage in a unique Baltimore garden that reflected them.”

Downtown Baltimore Engagement by Clapp Studios

Troopers, Destiny & Keon were, for their Downtown Baltimore Engagement session, as it was freezing cold!

This is what the bride-to-be, Destiny, had to say about it!      “Kenny Clapp of Clapp Studios is my photographer mentor, so when Keon and I got engaged it was very important that he be the photographer for our big day. The session took place at the Baltimore Covention Center and the surrounding areas. It was freezing cold that day in March, but it was a fun session filled with laughter and a sense of comfort that any bride wants to feel from her photographer. I loved how Kenny was able to capture us exactly how we are, two people in love.”

Suburban Club Wedding by tPoz Photography

Sparklers & singing groomsmen – what more could you ask for!? Here is what Teri from tPoz Photography had to say about this Suburban Club Wedding :: “What a romantic, elegant, and FUN day we had for Anna+Ryan’s wedding! Giddiness abounded as the bride prepped surrounded by her girls, and then slipped into her simply fabulous Martina Liana gown. After a sentimental moment with her dad seeing her for the first time, Anna was ready to see her groom! We raced across the golf course, four-wheeling it in a golf cart, to meet the love of her life at the bridge. After portraits with their bridal party, and then family member, Anna+Ryan signed their Ketubah, and Ryan veiled his bride. Rabbi Nagel performed a beautiful Jewish wedding ceremony, and their guests cheered them on with a hearty “Mazel Tov!”

After the ceremony, I stole Anna+Ryan outside for a few sparkler pictures, and some golf-cart getaway shots! When we came back in, we discovered that AR Events and Perkins Productions had transformed the Suburban Club ballroom into a romantic wonderland with glowing candlelight, amber uplighting, and sparkly crystals, as well as beautiful florals. The band, Doctors Orders, was ready to rock the evening, and kept the dance floor packed all night long! A highlight of the night was watching the groom and groomsmen perform their surprise choreographed dance for Anna – “Baby baby baby OOOOO!

Old Luckett’s Store Engagement by Marcella Treybig Photography

We’re absolutely loving this sweet engagement session, taken at Old Luckett’s Store in VA.

From the photographer, Marcella Treybig Photography: “This session was photographed at a huge 100+ year old barn that has been renovated into designer spaces displaying and selling their pieces in each room. Edwina (the bride) is a designer who has a space at this shabby chic vintage location, Lucketts in VA, and did her engagement session (including two of their children- because it’s the joining of a family). They each have a little girl from a previous relationship, and as Edwina put it “it’s not a young innocent love, but a love of two families becoming one”. Edwina is from Alaska, and Renzo (groom) is from Peru. They both live and work near DC bonding over their love of South America and their daughters.”
