Thanks to Rachael Boer Photography for sharing this amazing Anniversary session with us! “Allie and Mitch have been married several years. When I approached them about doing a styled anniversary session (I call these “I Still Do” sessions), they jumped at the opportunity. They put their wedding attire back on and we met at one of my favorite locations for some portraits. Rain had been threatening all day, but we decided to go ahead, and I’m so glad we did! 15 minutes into the session, huge dark storm clouds rolled in, and as the first drops fell, we turned to run to the car. Just then, somebody yelled, “Look!” We turned and saw the most gorgeous rainbow spanning the whole sky. I quickly set Allie and Mitch up and fired off a few shots before the rain came in earnest and forced us to find cover. I’m so happy we got these beautiful portraits for this happily married couple and that it made their anniversary especially memorable.”
It’s hard to remember those sweltering hot days, but you certainly can’t tell how warm it was in these beautiful images from Carly Fuller Photography! “Catharine and Andrew’s Country Club of Maryland wedding was the perfect way to start my fall wedding season! They definitely lucked out with the weather and storm hitting right as we finished photographs on the golf course. It was a record breaking heat wave, but that didn’t stop Catharine from climbing onto Andrew’s lap to snuggle with him on the adirondack chair, with NO direction at that second! She said “I just wanted to!” Cutest moment ever! Love these two and their incredibly fun and entertaining families and friends!”

Sometimes all it takes is a little Italian to bring a couple together! Such is the case for this couple and their Elkridge Furnace Inn wedding from Susie & Becky! “Catie & Blake attended the same high school growing up, but didn’t actually meet until they were both studying abroad in Italy. Catie & Blake wanted a low-key family wedding in a lovely atmosphere. They chose Elkridge Furnace Inn because of the woodsy, intimate feel it provided. Catie got ready at her parent’s place and then traveled to the venue for portraits. Blake’s best man shocked the entire room by preparing not just a speech, but an entire montage of song parodies written about Blake and his relationship with Catie. He even hired a group to sing backup vocals for him!” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fly21D9L9Sg
Get ready to read up on this Book-themed Legg Mason Building Wedding from Meghan Boyer Photography! “Kali and Steve met on the very first day of law school at the University of Maryland. Although they didn’t start dating right away, it wasn’t long after when they realized they had sat next to their future husband/wife! Kali and Steve are very busy lawyers, so they knew early on they wanted a wedding planner to pull together their wedding and they hired lemon & lime event design. After seeing a handful of venues downtown, they decided on the Legg Mason Building for its beautiful views of the harbor in addition to the clean and modern interior. The couple, who lives in Canton, was able to do their first look at their house which they had recently bought together. They conveniently live steps away from the new “bus” sign so they knew they wanted some pictures for both the “US” and the “B” for their new last name. They got married outside as the sun set over the harbor in a lovely ceremony that they created with Cantor Jan — it was the perfect mix of sentiment and humor. Kali and Steve didn’t want a ton of details and decor, but rather a very clean and simple look. With their new last name being Book, they worked with lemon & lime on a subtle book theme throughout. One of the guest favorites were the mini book drink stirrers that lemon & lime worked with Lauren Mattes Design to create. The mini book included pictures of their dog, the Orioles logo and a law balance, all a big parts of their story. Steve and his family (the Books) have been collecting vintage posters of The Books Band album covers, so those framed pieces were a great addition to the decor as well. Their escort cards were placed in gold spray-painted books each of which had a different story on them; from their first kiss, first date, etc. Meghan even got a shot of them with the Bertha’s Mussels bumper sticker, where they had their first date. Kali’s mom handmade roses out of book pages for every guest place setting in addition to for the groomsmen’s boutonnieres. Guests danced and celebrated all night under fun colored lanterns from Event Dynamics with the Bachelor Boys Band. We think Kali’s Facebook Status the morning of the wedding wraps it up pretty great, “Choose where you sit in 1L contracts wisely. You may end up marrying the guy sitting next to you.“
I guess you can say I am partial to this wedding since it was that of my gorgeous daughter and her handsome husband! I have to say though Lemon and Lime did a superb job. They worked with Kali and Steven to create a perfect day. However, Cantor Jan started the setting off with the most heartfelt words. And as for keeping the night moving The Bachelor Boys were awesome. Talk about dancing the night away. It was such a memorable evening Thank You Meghan Boyer for capturing all of it.ReplyCancel
