Sarah from Intrigue Design & Decor tells us about the vision for this styled shoot. “A reception on the beach, with the linens resting on the cool sand, the bay grass in the background and the subtle sound of the Chesapeake waters rippling, provided the perfect backdrop for a wonderful styled shoot brought together by talented and visionary wedding professionals. The hues of blue paired with gray created an interesting pallet. The striking smoke shade and delicate cream shade of the gowns brought out the moody tones of the flowers. The Chesapeake Bay Beach Club served as an enchanting, riveting and romantic setting that paired perfectly with our vision.”

Celebrations at the Bay Wedding by Robin Shotola

Jenn is our superhero. For her wedding to Victor, Jenn wanted to consider the opinions from their friends and family while still maintaining their own distinct style. And they did that all right– Jenn wouldn’t change a thing about her Celebrations at the Bay wedding, even if she had a do-over.

We love the superhero themed event (how cute are those cufflinks?!) and the stunning photos speak for themselves. Jenn couldn’t choose just one of her favorite moments.
“I will always remember laughing my face off at the alter with Vic, drinking champagne with my sisters and the other strong and beautiful women in my life, dancing with my father and watching my mother exude radiance, joy, and grace,” she said.
Jenn said she also loved listening to the speeches, seeing the smiling faces of friends and family and “feeling utterly humbled by how much love we received throughout the day.”

What are her words of wisdom for soon-to-be brides that are in midst the planning process?
“Laugh! Everyone is there because they love you both and are rooting for you. It’s the best feeling ever.”

Silver Spring Civic Center Wedding by Diana Bellack

Mike & Shajuana celebrated their love for one another on a beautiful spring day, with close friends and family in this beautiful Silver Spring Civic Center wedding. They included their wedding colors of orange and ivory in all aspects from their attire and accessories to the cake and infused their love for travel into their unique centerpiece displays. For the wedding party portraits, the couple and their crew cruised the streets of Silver Spring – stopping traffic along the way, with strangers congratulating the gorgeous couple. The reception was filled with dancing and laughter – you can tell Mike & Shajuana love to have fun with the people they adore! Thanks to Diana Bellack Photography for sharing these images with us!

It’s feeling a little like Spring with this Styled Wedding Shoot from Magnolia Street Photography! “We were looking for a location that would compliment our vision of a early 1900s English garden, and we hit the jackpot with The Retreat at Cool Spring. The stone walls and chippy paint was a perfect backdrop to our theme. We chose a lovely dress & shoes from Ruche to fit the early 1900s theme. We mixed new and vintage pieces with the attire and decor. Celebrating Love by Marcie used unique pieces from Ginger & Spice Vintage Rentals (pink settee, bird cage, frames, farm table, place settings & plant stand +) to style wedding elements in a fun new way. We wanted to take advantage of the amazing features within the retreat like the corner cabinets and large windows to add to the uniqueness of the shoot. Our florist, Studio In Bloom tied it all together with the lovely floral bouquets, using a lot of ferns and trailing honeysuckle & clematis for a free garden feeling.”
