We’re back again today, celebrating Opening Day WEEK with this O’s Themed Wedding from Angel Kidwell Photography!
“When I first met Julia and Chris they didn’t have too many details planned for their Patapsco Valley State Park wedding, but they knew they wanted to incorporate their love for the Baltimore sports teams, the Ravens and Orioles. Julia and Chris’ wedding day was one of the hottest of the whole summer. The group did a great job with hanging in there in the high temps at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The reception was held at the picturesque Patapsco Valley State Park in one of the pavilions. A very laid back atmosphere for their family and friends with down-home food catered by The Grill at Quarterfield Station. Julia and Chris etched all the bottles with dragonflies for the centerpieces on the picnic tables. The couple also brewed beer, and made and bottled their own wine for their guests to enjoy. This was a true picnic style reception with outdoor games like Frisbee, corn-hole, and horseshoes.”

Oriole Park Engagement Session by Joy Michelle Photography

We’re kicking off ‘Opening Day WEEK’ with a series of O’s events and Joy Michelle Photography hit a homerun with this Oriole Park Engagement Session! “Tara and Russell live in Baltimore and wanted to incorporate the city into their engagement photos. I worked with Tara to surprise Russell with a surprise, private tour of Camden Yards. Russell is a HUGE O’s fan and even talked about having their wedding at Oriole Park. Although they won’t be sharing vows there, they were able to use it as the backdrop for some amazing photos!
We had a blast walking through the stadium and learning about the history of the O’s. We also ventured to Canton waterfront park and their dog Hendrix joined us. You’ll see some beautiful fall foliage was still on the trees making for a beautiful splash of color.”

They love spending their free time in Fells Point, so we did a sunset engagement session near the water, meandering through the brick and ivy alleyways as the sun went down over the harbor.”

With everything from golden sunlight to dusky bliss, these Baltimore waterfront and Historic London Town Engagement photos from Richard Barlow Photography run the full gamut of gorgeousness! Jordan+Emily started their engagement session on the beautiful grounds of Historic London Town and Gardens in Edgewater, taking in the waterfront view, the golden light rolling off the greenery, and the rustic elements of the historic village. After finishing up there, they headed back to Baltimore for some sultry dusk shots at Tide Point and on Federal Hill, with the ever beautiful Baltimore skyline as the backdrop.
