“Katie and Travis’ Pier 5 Hotel wedding was so much fun! I am pretty sure I can speak for every single person there- it was one happy celebration! They filled their day with so many meaningful details… Katie’s earrings were the earrings her dad gave to her mom on their wedding day. Her “party” dress was actually made from her mom’s wedding gown! (SO AWESOME!) Their cake topper was the same cake topper Katie’s parents used for their wedding! and the list goes on and on. Those details were just a small sampling of the love that surrounds them!
It was such an honor to see their AMAZING smiles and witness the happiness in their hearts to finally be married! ;) Even when Deacon Mark announced them as Mr. and Mrs. Smith instead of Mr. and Mrs. White… ;) they laughed and said it was the best thing that could have happened! ;) They are AMAZING like that!”

This springtime Evergreen wedding from Stacy Bauer Photography is full of classic details, family heirlooms, a luminous ceremony, and a flowing bridal gown – combined this wedding was simply stunning.

“The ceremony took place inside the bride’s home church in Maryland where there was beautiful spring afternoon light flowing through the windows. The bride wore her grandmothers veil that her mother also wore and it was just a magical moment when her bridesmaids placed it into her hair before she walked down the aisle.

The reception took place in the heart of Baltimore City at the Johns Hopkins Evergreen Museum that’s just like a little taste of Europe – you walk into the venue and feel as if you’ve transported into an English castle that’s paired with beautiful gardens. The cocktail hour was on the patio as quartet played soft music. After the couple arrived, the guests made their way into the carriage house that was decorated with monogrammed details, cigars for guests and spring inspired floral arrangements. Here the guests danced the night away to a live band that was anything but boring!”

Belvedere Vow Renewal by Rachel Smith Photography

We’re wrapping up our week-long spotlight on The Belvedere, and we’ve got something a little different for you today – a Belvedere vow renewal, by Rachel Smith Photography! We’ll let Rachel take it from here! “On the first Saturday of April, Matt and Basak celebrated not just a wedding but a vow renewal. They previously had a low key court house ceremony, but wanted to share and celebrate their commitment with family and friends when the timing was a little better for them. After final wedding prep touches, Matt and Basak had their “first look” on the staircase of the Hotel Monaco. After a few photos, the couple and their party made their way to the Belvedere by way of Uber rides. Gotta love the tech savvy city dwelling couples! Matt and Basak exchanged vows once again, but this time with their loved ones there to witness. Cocktail hour was hosted on the 13th floor where guests enjoyed the bird’s eye viewed of Baltimore and delicious hors d’oeuvres. The 12th floor reception ballroom was completely decked out with gorgeous centerpieces created by Wicked Willow floral design.”

We’re continuing on with our spotlight on The Belvedere, and we’re thrilled to share this Grand Ballroom Belvedere Wedding from Ashley Michelle Photography! Ashley has this to say about Meghan+Kyle’s big day: “Meghan & Kyle are HUGE Ravens fans so it only seemed appropriate for them to enter their wedding reception as any Ravens player would. They even threw a signed football instead of a traditional garter. The black & white decorated reception was absolutely gorgeous. Although, on a side note, the venue itself is so breathtaking that it doesn’t take much, but as usual My Flower Box Events definitely added their own special touches with the centerpieces and made the space even more beautiful. Meghan insisted on taking night photos which of course made me so excited.” Congratulations Meghan+Kyle!
