Can’t you just feel the warm breeze blowing in off the water? Ever so elegant and charming, we’re excited to share this Kirkland Manor Wedding today from Mike B Photography!
“After years of crossing paths since high school, it was clear the pair were meant to be together when life brought Natalie and Trey back together at a concert in Baltimore. It was then that they felt the fireworks for the first time – a feeling that was there to stay. When Trey proposed on Christmas Eve (via their Chihuahua!), they knew it was their first step in a long and happy life together. Kirkland Manor proved to be the perfect venue for the couple’s big day. Not even a forecast for rain could put a damper on the breathtaking waterfront view of the Miles River – luckily, the rain ended just as guests started to arrive! As a special celebration of their love, Natalie and Trey had a fireworks display before dessert to capture the emotions of the day.
Natalie’s best advice for future brides is to start planning as soon as possible! Time flies by quickly, so be sure to secure the important things as early as possible (i.e. venue, photographer, band). She also encourages brides to hire a videographer. Although they can be costly, she notes that the day goes by so quickly that you will want to be able to look back and see all the details and moments that you may have missed. Finally, she stresses the importance of focusing on your fiancé! Everyone is at the wedding to celebrate your love, so don’t get hung up on the little things.”
