Today on the blog we bring you more elegant hairstyle ideas! I am asked by many brides to be what I can do with thinner hair: Can I make it look like it has volume? Can I create a lot of curls? Can I create a full, voluminous updo? Often, we hairstylists can. Whether it is done by teasing, curling, or even extensions, creating a fuller thicker look is very possible!

Today’s model has thinner hair, but she makes her hair thicker (and a bit longer) by using clip-in extensions. To create her first style, an up-do, I twisted back half her hair and incorporated small braids into the twists to create some texture. Although her hair is relaxed, her natural hair texture helped create a bit of fullness and volume on the crown of her head. I then took the bottom of her hair and pinned it into a smooth chignon (bun.)

For the second style, I took down her chignon and curled the bottom half of her hair for a softer, elegant ‘do. By curling her hair in opposite directions with every piece of hair, it created a more textured curly look. I also pinned the top layers of curls up to create more layers and volume.
