Most of time for something like the first look, the bride usually just makes the decision. An easy element of the wedding where we (guys) can say, honey I’ll love whichever you decide. (Haha, I love that line.) Of course we want to provide input, share thoughts or benefits to either side of the coin…
Awesome post, Lee!! And thanks for the shout out – totally awesome sauce!! (Also – because we are a ton of different places on Christmas morning, my family does presents literally at 3pm every year…too funny)
Ahhhh! Lee this is AMAZING!!! Gosh- seriously I am crying right now! LOVE LOVE LOVE the video of you and Melissa!!! Thank you so much for sharing this and for saying in your own words everything that we try to share with our couples about the First Look! It is SO MUCH MORE than saving time for pictures!!!!
Ugh. Why do you guys always make me cry!? I swear. You and Melissa are the fairytale couple and I just love it.
I’m the lucky girl that has the honor of being married to the author of this wonderful post :) So proud of you Lee… what a wonderful way to compare the two options and share your perspective. I had no idea he was doing this, ya’ll! I did not have the privilege of proof reading this for him (our usual routine) but I am so pleasantly surprised! And I too, was crying reading and re-watching the most magical day of our lives :) I hope this is something that couples will appreciate and that photogs and videogs can share with their couples for consideration!
Hey guys! Woo hoo! Thank you so much for taking the time to read :) Really appreciate the help with the photos!! Hope this perspective helps folks with their decision making.
Incredible. This definitely makes me believe that we are making the right decision with going the “first look” route. This is an awesome post!
Love this! The video at the end of your first look makes me tear up. Favorite part? Those big sighs you have right before you see her. Totally tugs at my heart!
