Erin and Shaun had a countryside wedding with vintage touches. Everything from the loosely gathered bouquets to the less than traditional dessert display, incorporate unique rustic chic details creating beautiful wedding day style.
The Wedding Style
This rustic chic wedding took place at Montegu Meadows, in Westminster, Maryland. Rustic chic is about older natural elements, muted colors and classic undertones. Lace, gold accents and natural elements were peppered throughout the event. The bridesmaids wore muted, rose-toned, tea length gowns. Florals are mixed white roses, stock, chrysanthemums , silver dollar eucalyptus and Italian ruscus. The bride wore a classic styled fitted gown with lace overlay.
Ceremony & Reception
Erin and Shaun said their vows outside under a wooden wedding arch draped with sheer white fabric. After ceremony, photographs captured the surrounding farmlands. The reception took place in a charming old barn. Miniature potted plants, garlands of greenery and florals in glass mason jars decorated the reception. Accents of gold and silver were pulled in with gold table numbers, mercury glass candle holders and pots. A folding screen made of old shutters displayed place cards for the guests.
